What is Feminism?
Movement that aims to advocate for equal rights for women.
The main purpose of feminism is to push for equality of
opportunities for both women and women.
Feminism is a global movement meant to ensure all women
at any point of the world are treated equally
Feminism call for the society to respect women
Feminism is not only pioneered by women but men also take
part in advocating for feminism.

Why discuss feminism?
Feminism is still a controversial topic in many societies. Thus,
necessary for discussion.
Discussion would enlighten many and promote equality
The discussion of feminism would show how this concept has
evolved over time.
Knowing how the concept has grown, would help in understanding
the current and future state of the concept in the society.
II also opted to discussion feminism because many people avoid it to
avoid troubles with other people in the society.
I also decided to study this topic because it would help in
condemning some sexuality acts that demean one sex.

History of feminism
Advocating for women rights started in late 19th century and
earlier 20th century
After first world war feminism movement was fragmented
It was renewed in the after the second world war
 Women's Liberation Movement (WLM) was born in the 60s
that brought a great impact in the movement
Since then feminism has grown to be stronger day by day

There are many evidence in the society showing how the
society is accepting the concept of feminism
 -Women not adopting husbands names after marriage
 -Using gender neutral language
 -Legalizing same sex marriage
 -Women taking technical professionals that were
majorly meant for men
 -Women taking up leadership positions has increased

The future of feminism
With recent advancement in technology, the movement has changed
to online activism. In the 90s activism was mainly by protest but
now people use social media to join forces and air their demands.
 With internet everywhere almost anyone can be accessed.
Social media will help recruit more members to feminism movement
The number of people who will be participating in feminism
movement will increase
