The first thing which needs to be considered before starting off the assignment, is
choosing a topic which would be relevant to the main theme or requirement of the
assignment. In this case, the topic requires to choose a persona. This persona should meet
specific criterion, such as prominence, legend, and timeframe of the persona. For this
purpose, Geoffrey Chaucer can be chosen, since the persona matches all of the criterion.
Chaucer is so prominent that he is widely considered to be the father of English poems of the
middle ages, and has written one of the most legendary pieces of literature, “The Canterbury
Tales”, and is also born in the early 14th century.

The information which are required for the purpose completing this assignment
involves a range of sub topics. This requires information pertaining to some of the persona’s
