Motivations behind the formation of EU and how it has affected European geopolitics
European Union trade block consists of countries. It was first formed in the year 1950, when the
European trade ideologies was established consisting of about six countries idea of European.
Purposely, EU was formed to tighten social, economic and political boundaries of the European
countries after 2nd World War. (Baldwin, 2016).
How the EU formation has affected European geopolitics
Through the Establishment of policies that’s subjected to a mixed type of political thinking.
EU’s geographical space has made it to export the norms and values which have been developed
in the region to other regions as well as stabilize the regional and global environments.
Function of the EU in ensuring accountability of the US’s geopolitical influence
The EU plays an important function in maintaining the US’s shared freedom values, peace and
prosperity across the region and even globally as well as protecting the interests of the region by
ensuring that the EU and is members are in a strategic position with the US in a fiercer era of
geopolitical competition (Heidbreder, 2012).
Factors in place that keep the European Union accountable for the geopolitical influence
i) Considering more integrations as the best Geopolitics
In some situations, the best approach to be accountable for the geopolitical influence is to
complete the long-standing integration projects (Ruijter, 2014).
ii) Concentrating on Multilateralism

The European Union ought to know the prevailing risks of the geopolitical approach. A global
view mainly focused on the disagreement between the power blocs generating a similar mindset
to that of an arms race.
The future of Arab League or the United Nations
The four scenarios below show the possible futures of Arab League or the United Nations;
Scenario 1: Firm state
Government will in the coming years have the responsibility to control of their fate and as well
will decline to work together as one state on common problems (Heidbreder, 2012).
Scenario 2: State of the World
This depicts that the government in the future will have an interest in wanting to govern the fate
of countries through working together United Nations to combat all common challenges.
Scenario 3: World Inc.
The countries governments is depicted to be unable to control and govern the destiny of the
country and this will lead to the filling of transnational corporations
Scenario 4: Wild State
This state depicts the governments of nations losing control and governance of their countries.

Relationship between populism of figures and reconstructed leftism
In right wing populism, the political philosophy chains both the populist themes and the right-
wing politics. The populist theme entails sentiments of anti-elitist, this opposes and prevents the
formation and dialogue with common people (Roth, 2015).
In Left-wing populism, the political beliefs and systems that initiates both the left-wing politics
and rhetoric themes. This themes tends to oppose the process of establishing dialogue on behalf
of the common people
Similarities between populism and reconstructed leftism figures
 They are both rhetoric populist that have political ideologies and beliefs (Bernaciak,
2015).
 They both oppose the establishment and speak on behalf of the common people
 Both the populism and leftism are against openness and honesty in trading
 They are both driven by the protectionism of economic growth and development which is
in regards to their processes of electorates of the constituencies.
 Both these parties are not truthful and claim to work for its people and want to cater for
the needs of the common man and this opposes the establishing process of trade in the
EU.
Differences between populism and reconstructed leftism figures
The differences between populism and leftism’s are majorly based on ideologies, beliefs and
systems used in movement, governance or control of countries. These includes:

Whereas Left wing-populism wants to decrease the influence of the rich, right wing populism is
really opposing this sort of development.
Right-wing populism is strongly and purely against immigration and often hostile to minor
immigrants in existence. Left-wing populism is not against immigrants.
Whereas Left-wing populism is typically radical and fundamentally based its issues on sexual
concerns, right-wing populism prefers to do reverse much that has been done on sexual issues.
Right wing acknowledges and upholds racism and matters related to racism. However currently
it is changing this as some view blacks can be found in their states. Unlike right-wing, left-wing
populism is highly anti-racists.
How “Left” in Latin America has shaped by its historical and current geopolitical relationship
with the United States
Because of the early 1980s democratization process, the creations and development electoral
based competition brought up potential and possibilities of moving from left to the position of
controlling the country. Most of the past and history of the area depicts how the opened up
completion of electrical influenced leftism. Ways in which leftism initiated the movement was
by enhancing the shortcomings in suffrage as well as involving and dominating the military in
influencing the suppression process in the 20th century (Lasas, 2013).
