Introduction
The Java-based application will be designed as “Image Matching Using Geospatial” system. In
this scenario, the architectural diagram was used for explaining the complete structure in a
formal way. In the next part, the user interface was designed for the java application. And in the
next part, the hierarchy diagram is also designed for the system.

System Architecture
The system architecture is the architectural diagram of the web application that explains the
prototypes of the designed application. It describes the whole designed system in a formal way.
The architecture diagram was developed for the Image Matching Using Geospatial system. It
was divided into three layers such as presentation layer, client layer, and the server layer. There
are some components used as internet, server, admin, users and the database of the designed
application (Murach & Urban, 2015).

Interface Design
The user interface of the “Image Matching Using Geologist”, was designed in the NetBeans IDE.
NetBeans frames were designed using classes of JFrame in the Java programming. The interface
designed for getting interaction between users and the application. There were many screens
designed below:
Figure 2: Home page
Above page gives the output of the home screen. In this page, two buttons are provided by which
a user can interact with the system. By using the first signup button user can register
himself/herself with our system. The register is helpful for the user as search results are only
stored in the database after the registration. Another button is login button is used to login in the
system more technically these buttons redirects the user towards the login and sign up page (Ye,
et al., 2017).

Figure 3: Login options
In the above page login selection is asked in between the normal or common user and an admin
user. Admin user can log in into the system to alter the database. Table alteration can be
performed by the admin user only. Another option available is user login in which already user
can log in and proceed to do his work.

Figure 4: User login page
The above page is used to log in successfully into the system. In this username and password is
asked from the user by inserting correct value a user can log in successfully into the system.

Figure 5: Admin login panel
Above given page is shown the login page of the admin of the system. By this page, only admin
can log in into the system. This is similar to the user login page. The only difference is the final
redirection of the page.

This given page is the screenshot of the forgot password page of the system. A user can reset his
password if the old one is lost. In this page, the new password is reset by asking mail ID and
username.

Figure 7: Registration page
A new user can register on our system to enjoy some benefits. Registration page asked the user
to enter his name, contact number, email, etc. Sign up button is used to enter submit all the detail
of the form given into the database.

Figure 8: Dashboard
The page given is the dashboard of the user login screen where the heading of the screen
includes the name of the user. Two options are available for the user on this page. Available
options are Finding the old search and the second option is the search for a new image.
