1PERSONAL STATEMENT
My name is Gessica Chery. I am a transfer student at FAU with a major in Finance. I
have decided to complete a Finance degree and this personal statement is the justification for
the decision. My interest in Finance has grown since my childhood when I had the
responsibility to save money on behalf of my family. I was the best person to take financial
decisions since my age was 16 years. My motivation to complete a finance degree is
influenced by these situations. In my opinion, completing a finance degree can be helpful for
a person because it helps a person to make the perfect decision regarding finance in day to
day life.
My aim is to complete a degree in Finance. I believe that completing this degree will
help me to improve my decision-making skills regarding finance. The first point is
developing a goal is easy but developing a piece of objectives is troublesome. At first, I want
to do my best and pray to the god to help me stay healthy. Without being a healthy person, it
will be difficult for a person to accomplish the goal of life. It can be said that being healthy is
a gift from God. The second thing is to improve the ability to accept. To achieve the goal, a
person has to accept the truth and confide in himself. You have to accept that you can be
affected by anything or you can be a part of extraordinary. These two goals will help me to
achieve my third aim. The main aim of my life is to complete my bachelor’s degree and
master’s degree in Finance. It will help me to get a perfect job through which I can help
people to improve their ability regarding financial issues. After achieving the aim I can
provide my service in my interested area.
