This project plan outlines the development of an online airline booking system named 'Getaways Travels'. The initial objective focuses on creating a user-friendly platform for online flight ticket booking, enabling users to check flight schedules and reserve tickets easily. Subsequent weeks detail the planning phase, including features offered by the application such as online ticket purchase, seat requests, flight status checks, hotel and cab booking, and meal requests. The project plan also addresses task scheduling, defining the scope of work, and segregating tasks into initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases. Responsibilities are divided among team members, including project managers, quality managers, testing specialists, developers, UI designers, programmers, and R&D managers. A work breakdown structure is established to ensure efficient project execution, covering project information, planning, execution, controlling, and closing. Risk factors associated with team management, communication, training, and changing customer requirements are identified, along with measures to mitigate these risks. Quality standards are defined, encompassing responsiveness, assurance, tangibility, reliability, and empathy. Finally, a SWOT analysis is conducted to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the Getaways Travels system.
