INTRODUCTION
Reflective learning refers to the process that is carried out to self-assess and analyze the
learnings that are developed during the academic session. This method helps evaluate personal
learning methods in analyzing personal behavior and growth capabilities. Reflective learning is
highly helpful in assessing the inner negative and positive aspects through which development
can be derived (Lewinsohn et. al., 2018). The major problems in the individuals can be solved by
using an action plan. For the journal reflective approach, the individual is required to examine
their natural and other routines within the practice of mental ability. This report how was the
reflective approach that is carried out by students to perform evaluation and enhancement in
Formative and summative assessments.
MAIN BODY
Gibbs reflection model is one of the most useful techniques to analyse and learn the ways
which support personal development. During graduation, this student is required to focus on
studies along with managing the work and the internal and external abilities. Using Gibbs
reflection cycle the individual can get insights into their values and the nature that they exhibit.
Further gaps reflection model can help in finding the loopholes and coming up with techniques
that can enhance the personality of the individual. Because by joining this particular module an
individual will be able to gain skills that will help them in enhancing their future development
and further motivating them through four different programs (Ekland-Olson and Gibbs, 2017)..
With the help of reflection, I will be able to increase my growth prospects through which I will
attain my goals. The good and bad experiences faced by me during that particular time will help
me in developing an action plan. Through the module discussed in the learning sessions of the
week, I will develop an understanding and knowledge of different areas. I learned that reflection
is one of the most appropriate techniques for ensuring that things are learned on a better note.
Various elements of Gibbs reflective cycle help create techniques and methods which will
support the learning process (Campbell and Tran, 2021).
The reflective approach is one of the most effective techniques in learning the business
management areas as I can process the knowledge that I have learned during my business

management sessions. Through a reflective approach, I will be able to arrive at the point where I
know the areas in which I am fluent. Reflection will help in analysing my strengths and
weaknesses in the business management profile and how I can come up with techniques to
overcome my weaknesses. Through reflection, I can develop writing where I can reflect on the
learning that I have gained in particular weeks off my learning sessions. The learning sessions
must be analysed critically as the information and knowledge gained regarding the business
management profile will be reflected in a very precise manner (Williams, Woolliams and Spiro,
2020). Through reflection, I can add up my insights and thoughts on the learning that I have
gained from my past sessions. Through this, I will have a particular learning technique that will
help me in effective learning. Business management is one of those subjects which requires a
critical and analytical approach towards learning. With reflection, I will be able to express the
areas in which I need to improve to master the business management process.
While learning about reflection and gaining knowledge in the same area it is essential to
manage the module so that the superiors can provide relevant feedback. Feedback can be positive
or negative depending on the work submitted by me to the superior. This feedback will help in
assessing the work and further making the required changes to make it correct. Positive feedback
will help in increasing my morale and motivation. Negative feedback will also be provided in a
constructive form from my superior so that I can understand the things lacking in me. Through
this, I can develop the essential areas and deliver my best performance. Sometimes the negative
feedback demotivates the students and learners which is not appropriate for the development
process. Looking over the feedback will help me in increasing my abilities and future growth
aspects. Reflection is also helpful in motivating and increasing productivity as the essential areas
of development are identified with this (Kermiche, 2019). GIBBS Model is one of the most used
and effective techniques to ensure growth. Feedbacks are also an essential part of the learning
process as two feedbacks an individual develop an understanding of the areas in which they lack.
I used feedback as a tool to increase my knowledge and understanding of business management.
Through feedback, I can assess the important topics and how they make relevance in business
management courses. Therefore it is considered as a prime responsibility of the superior to
provide learners like me with feedback for the work. The work must be critically analysed by the
superior so that they can communicate the areas to the students in which they need
improvements.

Feedback are urgently given in academic institutions and organization's so that the students and
employees can learn effectively. With the help of this method, the command superior ensures
improvement in the behaviour, knowledge, and working of the individuals. Feed forward refers
to the provision of context in which one person wants to communicate before the communication
process. This is an educational strategy that is focused on providing the students like me with
prior exposure and prior practice with future assignments so that the expectations and standards
can be met by the university. In my life, this strategy plays an important role as it directly helps
in giving me a brief idea about future circumstances. This helps me in preparing for my future
and further gaining knowledge about the areas in which I’m going to be exposed. With the help
of this technique, I was able to master the process of delivering the goal of the project. The
superiors should provide the individual with feed forwards as it will increase the overall
efficiency and proficiency of individuals.
These are the general techniques that are followed by superiors of the institutions. They provide
learners like me with feedback and feed forwards which help increase the learning power. The
development phase is also enhanced by the process of feedback and feed forwards. In the
academic fields, it is required that the individuals learn about the different areas in the formative
and summative assessments (Yao, 2018). Hence it can be interpreted that the reflection process
was highly helpful for me as it helped in driving knowledge about the business management
profiles. Further, the feedback processes are also essential as through this I was able to discover
the areas in which I have made mistakes. I also understood the strength and weaknesses of data
associated with business management learning. Therefore it can be assessed that feedback and
feed forward play an essential role in the academic field as the desired objectives can be attained
easily.
CONCLUSION
From the above report, it can be concluded that students are required to reflect on the weeks
in which they implied learning in themselves. The learning process must be reflected with the
GIBBS reflection model as it directly enhances the learning process. GIBBS Theory plays an
important role in regulating the process of reflection in an effective manner and delivering the
best set of results. Through this the individuals can critically evaluate their learning and further
proceed with the significant amount of knowledge in the same area. Feedbacks are important part
of the learning process and the feedbacks must be assessed in an effective manner as it helps in

development process of the individuals. Feedforwards are also essential as they give a brief
understanding of the relevant areas to the learner so that they can further proceed with the same
without any problem. This helps the learner in developing information and further delivering the
best results in the learning process. In business management it is essential that the superior
provides the learner with feedbacks as it helps in increasing the abilities of the students.
