INTRODUCTION
Marketing communication is the promotional activity which has been done to create
an awareness among people so that a brand or business can be able to grow and develop. To
run a business, it is the essential process where a company needs to adopt some actions to
promote their business through various and different channels and sources so that the brand
can be able to grow definitely. The report will illustrate significance of the marketing and
reflect a Gibbs reflective model to express their experience in particular business
administration pathway (Silvia, 2019). It will be mentioned by utilizing the reflective model
which helps an individual to understand it in better manner.
MAIN BODY
Gibbs reflective Model
The Gibbs reflective framework helps an individual person to reflect their experiences
from which they can be able to learn and adopt the better knowledge and learning. This model is
consisted of six stages which has been described below:
Description: In the foundation year, I was studying the particular BA subject marketing which is
more interesting topic for me to understand and grab the knowledge. I want to build and grow
my career in business administration area where I had chosen the marketing subject which I
wanted to learn more about and can enhance my learning in this field. I saw many entrepreneurs
who are very successful in the marketing area and able to run their business at definite position
(Chopra and et.al., 2021). At starting, I was very excited to learn more about the marketing
where I learned that marketing is the important thing to be understood to run nay kind of
business where it can help me to create an awareness among people from which I can be able to
spread my business widely.
Feeling: During the first session, I was quite confused that I had taken the right subject to learn
or not but as the classes started I was able to adopt the learning in appropriate manner with a
positive internal feeling. My tutors helped me a lot in gaining the marketing knowledge and
make me to feel comfortable and courageous to feel that I have chosen the right subject where I
can grow my career successfully. Learning and attending the marketing lectures were become
my favourite as I like to increase my knowledge in this specific field from where I can be able to
run the business at definite level.

Evaluation: During the foundation year, my tutor assigned me the task where I was required to
create a brief project on the selected subject and its different areas so that tutor can understand
my learning and knowledge which I have achieved during the classes. Doing an assignment in
the group work helped me to increase my knowledge of the marketing concept and cleared my
many doubts but at some point I was unable to focus on the project and gets very disturbed
during my busy schedule where managing the time for the project making was quite difficult and
challenging for me (Rohm and et.al., 2019). Due to lack of time management, I also started to
come late in the classes where I started to miss the many sub-topics of marketing level which
causes difficulties for me to complete my project.
Analysis: At that time, I started to manage my time so that I can be able to attend the lectures
and classes accordingly. My group people helped me a lot in improving my time management
area so that I can be able to complete my project on time and can be able to enhance my
marketing knowledge. My tutor and group mates motivated me to do not get disappointed form
myself and needs to do hard work for the proper management of the time so that I can be able to
keep a focus on my specialized subject. Understanding and adopting this skill will help me to
increase my marketing knowledge which will help me to grow and develop my career at
successful level.
Conclusion: At the conclusion, I understand that I was required to increase my time
management skill which will help me to grow in my individual life. In the foundation year,
choosing the marketing subject was the right decision from where I can be able to increase my
progress and can develop my career effectively (Sicora, 019). By increasing the time
management skill, I will be able to not able to miss any of my lecture and can focus on the
particular working areas at definitely. Finally, I realized that proper management of the time can
help me to keep my concentration on all the areas of the marketing from where I can easily move
forward towards the progress and can develop myself in particular field and can become the
successful entrepreneur.
Action Plan: I learned that I am required to increase my time management skill where I have to
implement different strategies to overcome the lack of time management ability (Mouratoglou,
2018). For improving the time management skill I will firstly prioritize my work efficiently so
that I can be able to complete my work on time and can submit my project to the tutor on time.
Along with this, I will also create a proper schedule and task deadline which helps me to

complete and organize the quality working from where I can be able to increase my time
management skill.
CONCLUSION
The report has concluded the reflective writing where it has described the experience of
particular BA pathway subject adopted at the foundation year by an individual person. It has
included the entire detail by using the model of reflection where the individual can be able to
cover each and every area of the experience from which It will also provide the learning material
for the people. It is required to understand the weak points where the report has concluded the
action plan at last element of the model which has mentioned the strategy to overcome the weak
areas from which an individual person can be able to grow and develop.
