INTRODUCTION
Academic skill is the ability in an
individual person from where they can
be able to obtain the excellent result in
their academic and graduation period
(Burns, and Young, 2019). The report
will demonstrate the Gibbs reflection
model where it will include the
individual person strength, weakness,
threat and opportunities and will also
mention the smart objectives to
enhance the weak areas and academic
skills.
Gibbs Reflection Model
Gibbs's reflection cycle is one the most usable and
appropriate reflection model which helps the individual
person to express their experience effectively (Putra,
2018).
Description: During the academic session, my tutor told
me to make a project on topic of our choice as the
project marks will be added in the examination grades.
Feeling: I feel very excited to make a project given by
the tutor from which I can be able to learn and adopt
different areas of learning and knowledge which will be
very beneficial for me in the examination and
professional life as well.
Evaluation: During the initial stage of project making I
was able to create a project as I was quite good at my
written communication skill and researching skill from
which I was able to identify the subject effectively
which is my strength. Thus, at the mid stage of the
project it was quite difficult for me to manage my time
accordingly and little shy in communicating verbally
with my mates for asking help and I believe that it is my
weak points which I need to overcome.
Analysis: When, I ask my mates to help me in my
project they supported me and guide me to manage my
time accordingly (Kilgannon, 2022). Learning this
ability will provide me an opportunity to submit my
project on time.
Conclusion: At the conclusion, I think that if I am not
able to enhance my weak points I will not able to grow
myself in personal and professional life as well and leads
me to obtain poor marks at examination time.
Action plan: For obtaining the good marks at the
examination time, I am required to create smart goals
and objectives from which I can be able to improve my
weak areas and can be able to grow.

The report has concluded the importance of academic skill
for an individual student from which they can be able to
obtain good grades and also can be successful in their future
professional life. It has included the reflection model to
