Overview of Organisation
 Girls Education International work towards the
education of the girl child in the remote areas of
the world (www.girlsed.org 2019).
 They provide proper educational opportunities to
the all the girls that live in regions where the
access the to education is quite difficult.
 Girls Education International is a not for profit
private organization .
 Girls Education International is an non-
governmental organization whose mission is to
educate girls all around the world in remote areas
where education cannot be accessed by the girls.
 The organization launched in the year 2006 and
since then Girls Education have partnered with
many local organizations so that girls and women
in underdeveloped areas can educate themselves.
 They work globally, currently they are have
partnered with local organizations in Pakistan and
Tanzania.
Contribution to the Common Good
 As is known educating girls has been a problem, as
there are societies that still believes that educating
girls is not important.
 There are societies where the role of women is
limited to the reproductive role and to eradicate this
thought , Girls Education has taken upon itself the
role of educating women who do not have the
access to education (Kreager et al. 2013).
 The organization is working in remote areas where
the mindset of the people are backward and
educating women is not a priority (Emina, Chirwa
and Kandala 2014).
 They are trying to create a society where the
opportunities that women have are equal to that of
the man.
 This is noble cause and they have been successful
since its inception in the year 2008
My Professional Contribution
 I believe that education is a basic right of
everyone irrespective of sex and gender and all
the people across the world deserve to receive
proper education.
 I believe that the work that Girls Education is
doing is of prime importance and if I become a
part of the organization I would also travel to
the areas and communicate with the local
workers and ensure that the women have
access to proper education.
 I personally can teach the girls and .talk to the
local partners and ensure that girls receive
proper education
