AI Summary
The research project titled 'Improving on the factor of GIS Management Strategies for an Organization' investigates the strategic role of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in organizational success. It emphasizes how organizations can enhance their use of GIS technologies by addressing management and operational challenges associated with its implementation. The study draws upon literature, such as Love et al. (2014), which highlights the importance of practical application of GIS in solving business issues, and Mitchell (2013), focusing on resource and environmental management through technology. The research methodology involves collecting data from stakeholders across government, corporate, and private sectors using interviews and questionnaires to understand their experiences with GIS technologies. This approach aims to uncover factors critical for developing effective GIS strategies that align with organizational goals and technological advancements.

Summary of Topic:
(Include why, what and how you intend to investigate your topic using knowledge gained
from research methods)
The strategies of an organization for dealing with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
generally play an important role in the technology’s success within an organization (Love et al.
2014). As with the modernization in technology, the primary factor in GIS achievement is the
way it is been practical in solving the organizational business issues. This article would be
addressing the management along with the organizational issues connected with the adoption of
the technology of GIS in certain compound organizations. This discussion would take into
account the issues related to management and organization related to the dealing of the
introduction and the usage of the GIS and certain unconventional strategies for incorporating
GIS into the operations of the business (Mitchell 2013). The thesis would be contemplating on
various experiences in highlighting important factors of organization that needs to be
considered while developing a strategy within GIS.
The research would be planned in capturing the information from the stakeholders presumed to
be making use of GIS in the environment for working. The plan would take in the departments
related to governments, corporate organizations along with the private companies. The primary
focus would be on capturing deviating views about the factor of technology as much as
promising (Ley et al. 2014). The research would take in a mail interview where questionnaires
would be sent to the departments of the government either through the use of the electronic or
surface mail. For the purpose of the corporate or private organizations formal presentations are
necessary in establishing the degree to which technology has been functional through the use of
the questionnaire survey quite analogous to the ones that is being used by the departments of
the governments.
