Main dilemma in the scenario
The assignment mostly reflects on giving voice to values. The actual dilemma that has been
established in the article deals with unethical work at workplace. Tina was a college senior
but she witnessed a drawback financially as her father was not able to support her in paying
her bills due to nosedive in the economy (Tams & Gentile, 2020). As a result, she started
applying for internships in order to earn money to pay her bills. She got qualified in an
internship but little did she know that she had to make fake online profile. She has also been
forced to recommend books that she never read or has been interested in reading. In order to
comprehend that what requires to be done, Tina has also started listening to Counting Crows
song in order to gain strength.
Reasons and rationalization
1. Tina has been provided with training regarding job optimization on Amazon
2. Although Tina was provided with the training little did she know that she had to create
several pseudonyms
3. Tina took classes on ethics course in which she learnt about several cases that has been
exactly the same as the one she has to deal with
4. She considered the extent of 100 years and what a small amount of time it must be in the actual
scheme of things

I would reflect on the curriculum related to giving to voice values that would help individuals
identify as well as speak regarding values when those conflicts take place. It is imperative to
make those individuals realise that there are several results that are likely to take place due to
creation of fake interests. Tina might not be able to carry out the tagging of online books in a
perfect manner. In other words, it is quite difficult for her to recommend books that have not
been based on her qualifications as well as interests. This is likely to damage the reputation as
well as image of the company in the future. As a result, the company is likely to lose their
license thus increasing the prospect to get sued Han, Wang, Cui, Ma & Zhang, 2017). Tina
has been taking up ethical course that might persuade her to take up a correct decision in the
future. That might increase the chance to disclose the breach that is being practised by the
firm.

It is imperative for a company to maintain code of ethics in the long run. In order to do that it
is imperative to evaluate the procedure that is related to moral implications that will act as the
action course. The rational response requires to be based on social norms that will be shaped
by cultural practices. It is imperative to initiate several segments that will help to systemize as
well as synthesize the recommended aspects that are related to right in addition to wrong
conduct. It is crucial to maintain a jovial relation with the client by helping to keep up with
their trust as well as loyalty (Awan & Zempi, 2016). It has been established that several
ethical decisions are based taken in gray areas where it becomes imperative to take a crucial
decision.
Who should the argument be made to?
The argument requires to be made against Tina who will be liable to carry out the unethical
work that will take place by using her name. Although it was not her fault as she had little
idea that she will have to create such fake ids in the future with pseudonyms but she should at
least give it a second thought. It is evident that she requires money to pay her bills but that is
not justified by being engaged in an unethical work (Leukfeldt, Kleemans & Stol, 2017). It is

imperative to make Tina realize that whatever she is trying to do is against the ethics and she
should opt for some other work. She requires to get hold of an alternative solution rather than
getting involved in such deeds that is not legal. It is also likely to become eventually difficult
for Tina to recommend books that have not been based on her qualifications as well as
interests. It is imperative to talk to her father regarding everything if she still not changes her
mind and gets shifted to a diverse job role. Her father requires to understand the fact that this
might turn into a life risk for her in the future if she continues working in the company.
