Findings and analysis
Impact of Covid 19 in global was so worst that in the early stage it become impossible for
everyone to control the situation. The pandemic not only affected the health of the public but
also the business operation. There is a negative impact of Covid 19 on various sector of the
economy like travel and tourism industry, hospitality industry, retail industry, entertainment
industry, education industry and many more. But the sector which affected the most is retail
industry of various country (Tosti-Kharas and Michaelson, 2021). As the government of the
countries imposed various trade restriction so importing and exporting becomes difficult. The
income, employee turnover, rise in price of fuel, improper supply chain management and many
more are the consequence which were faced by business which reduce their performance and
productivity. Operating business in effective and efficient manner were become impossible and
company also make various efforts so that they can market their goods and service in order to

which are mean, median, mode. Also other function also been used which are Maximum,
Minimum, sum. Let’s discuss each of them one by one.
Percentage: From the above table it is being concluded that the highest vaccination is
provided by united states of America. The vaccination rate is 55149115.00 at America as
compared to all other country. It indicates that the country is putting more efforts so that they can
reduce the impact of Covid a9 on their citizen and operates their business in more effective
manner. The infection rate is highest in Austria which is 57.12 percent out of 100. It means the
company business are impacted a lot at the time of Covid 19 and they struggle a lot to run their
business in more efficient manner.
Sum: Sum indicates the total number in a period. In the above gathered data the total
vaccination rate of the selected seven countries is 3161697555.00 and the infection rate is
203285457.00. This implies that countries are providing making lot of efforts to provide
vaccination to their people in order to reduce the spread of virus and enhance their economy
growth. If vaccination will be high, then citizen will operate their business without a fear of
being affected by virus. This will also help them to improve their business performance and
productivity. employment turnover will also reduce as well as trade restriction will become easy.
Mean: It is a statistical method which is used when investigator want to know the
average result. In the above result the average mean of seven different countries for the
vaccination rate is 395212194.38 and for infection rate it is 25410682.13. It implied that the
average means so high that almost each and every country is being affected which indirectly
affect the business performance of the company in greater sense. Almost all the seven country is
being affected by the pandemic which creates problem for them to function in more proper way
because majority of people are being infected by the virus so production at that time becomes
low.
Median: It is another central tendency which is used to calculate the middle number in a
series. In shorter term this is used to explained the higher and the lower half of the collected data.
In the above data the median for total vaccination is 146989594.00 and infection is 22137645.50.
This means that in France is at mid position in both providing vaccination to their people so that
they can improve their business performance and in infection rate also it is diving the other
countries.

data of seven countries the highest infection rate is of United States of America which is
79091857 and the higher vaccination rate is being provided by Austria which is 1805830502.00.
The above data indicates that in USA the spread of Covid 19 is so high that operating business in
that situation is very difficult and this affect their business performance as their sale and revenue

about spread of infection in Iceland the virus affects in minimum manner as till the end of year
2021 the century report has 177015.00 citizen of Covid 19. This means that the government is
following various measure to minimise the virus and start their business in better way in order t
improve their business productivity and performance in sound manner.
