The global business environment relates to the situations in several self- autonomous

attributes and decision making terms. The following report covers the section of the Barclays
Bank. It is a British international global bank (Weaknesses, and Threats, 2021). Its headquarter
is established in London, England. The management will concentrates on the technology and e –
commerce. The following report will covers the manner in which key drivers that will have an
impact on the two functional fields of the business.
TASK
Key drivers which impacts the two functional areas of the company
Operations Department - Barclays' customers and users covers individuals, small and medium
sized business, large corporates and international business, financial institution and banks,
organisational investors, funds, sovereign management and government. The operational
department make sure that the production procedure is completed from initial to last section. As
on the other hand, such divisions follows suitable sections of the management by having
effective term of the responsibilities of promotions of the brand of Barclays management. As
there are two fundamental division that are as follows -
Brand Awareness – In terms of Barclays management, there brand value is effectively
high in respect to manage and maximise the brand awareness of business with their
operations, banking sector of Barclays to develop suitable tactics that are advantageous
for them at higher level.
E commerce – E – commerce has allows the app payment and transactions that lead the
manner for physical brick and mortar banks (Antwi-Afari, Ng, and Hossain, 2021). As
the management of Barclays maintain their terms with online operations and functions of
system. It will concentrates on making diverse tactics as per to the different sections on
how to increase their goodwill effectively.
Finance department – It include the actions that management starts to plans and maintain
company money and ensure management can access cash in suitable manner. In the procedure of
the growth it is frequently the initial step and the fundamental aim is to present new facilities and

drivers on this division that are as follows -
Brand Awareness – In relation to the Barclays bank, management is prior to identify
several manner in enhancing their brand value all over the world and to create some

diverse nation.
E commerce – Management is working effectively in respect to manage their sales and
earning, such divisions have to research about their investment, funding of client in
diverse nations and develop their website and application as per to it.
Recommendation to the company
As there are several sort of the problems and weaknesses that management face that
become barrier in the functions and effective operations of the management (Daniluk, 2021). As
in respect to overcome such weaknesses, there are some of the recommendation are as follows -
In respect to decrease and eliminate the economical factor of the business that will have
an impact by the COVID – 19 and Brexit, organisation of Barclays bank should
concentrates on their operations and functions on regular basis that can support them in
maximising their brand value and needs of the individuals (van Steenbergen, Ramos,
and Sousa, 2021). As they also concern on the basic terms and also follows the protocols
of the COVID -19.
In respect to overcome the political factor of the business of management. The
organisation of Barclays Bank, that can extend their management outside of Europe as
there is no limitation in extending the management outside their fields of the market
place. Hence, it can be a benefit for them in an effective and efficient manner.
CONCLUSION
From the above mentioned report it has been concluded that, there are various sort of the
key drivers that will have an impact on the functional fields of the management. Functional
department involves managers that allotted to the operational division that offers invariant
supervision on the production procedure to ensure their workers can consistently perform their
orientated tasks. Finance department also have to study and research about such drivers for
effective functioning and longer term of success of the business in an effective and efficient
manner.
