INTRODUCTION
Global business environment refers to the environment of the different sovereign
countries which used to have affect and influence on the decision- making of the resources.
This project is based on the Boots organization which is the type of Footwear Company. This
report will outline the SWOT analysis and operation impact analysis of the organization.
MAIN BODY
SWOT analysis
SWOT analysis I the framework which used to describe the competitive position of
the company and used to develop the strategic planning (Elaborative SWOT Analysis of Boots
Ltd, 2022). The SWOT analysis of the Boots is as follows:
Strengths: The strength of the company is used to distinguish the company and
provide the competitive advantage to the company in order to increase the market share of the
company (Ervural and et.al., 2018). The company used to have special relationship with
their customers by having strong research and development in the market. Boots used to have
effective rewarding marketing and has wholesale distribution in different countries. The
company used to sell and offer the wide range of items in the market.
Weaknesses: The Company’s weaknesses are the things that must be improved by the
company in order to compete in the market. By having some strength the company used to
have some weaknesses too (Cherunilam, F., 2021). In order to globalise the company has
some flaws which decreases the profitability of the company. This is because as the company
has less retail stores in the market. The company need for the reliable and good campaign
management in the areas where the boots are lying behind. Due to lack of stores as compare
to other retail brands the company used to face lots of competition in the market and
decreases the profitability of the company.
Opportunities: These are the areas in which the company puts efforts in order to
improve the results, sales and basically the profits of the company (Möller, Nenonen and
Storbacka, 2020). There are some opportunities of the Boots Ltd. In order to increase the
results and profitability in the market and to have the expected results the company must
follow some strategies (Farr and Bailey, 2019). The common is having the potential in order

technology for having faster production.
Threats: The threats are the external factors which used to have bad impact on the
company’s growth. The low cost of the products are used to make the low quality of the
products and make the customers to avoid purchasing those products of the company. The
substitutes and the copy products used to decrease the profitability of the company (Gallego
and et.al., 2018). Boots ltd. must consider their regulatory cost which used to have a bad
impact on the revenues of the company as pandemic has affected a lot.
Operational impact analysis
Operational impact analysis is the analysis which used to determine the impact of loss
on the operational or on the technological resources. By identifying and analysing the
implications the company can make the change on the loss made by them. From the above
SWOT analysis it has identified some key drivers which have an impact on the functional
areas of the firm (Gallego and et.al., 2018). It is very important for the company to have the
operational analysis as it makes the company to identify the areas where they are lacking. The
key drivers are identified which use to make the loss and because of pandemic it has affected
the decision- making related to the online market which can be improved.
Marketing: Marketing are the activities which used to define the set of instructions
and the processes which helps in communicating, delivering, and having the exchange of
offers with the customers in the market (Yuba, Novaes and de Soárez, P, 2018). In the above
analysis it has identified that the company has threat in order to earn the profits at the time of
pandemic. With happening of the COVID the offline stores and online shopping of the people
were closed which has affected the profitability of the company. With the opening of the
mallet the company can expand its market globally.
Human resource management: HRM is the strategic approach to the company in order
to have the effective and efficient management of the members in the organization. This
helps the organization in order to gain the competitive advantage in the market and it is help
to increase the performance of the staff and make the good strategic decision. It is identified
