INTRODUCTION
Main objective of this report is to analysis the concept of global business environment.
For success of any organization it’s very important that they focus and analysis the business
environment. Business environment refers to term of marketing in which various factors are
included which influence and affect the growth of business. Business environment includes the
external factors which are beyond the control of organization and which affect the operations of
business. For this report Primark Company is taking into consideration. It is a retail company
deals in clothing, cosmetics and houseware. It was founded by Arthur Ryan in 1969, headquarter
is in Dublin. It provide its services in various countries such as Austria, U.K, U.S, and Germany
etc. Almost 78,000 numbers of employees are successfully working with it. This report includes
a PESTLE analysis related to selected firm which helps in better understanding of external
environment.
MAIN BODY
PESTLE Analysis
It refer to a tool which is used by an organization to analysis and identify the external
factors which influence the growth of business (Cherunilam, 2020). PESTLE stands for political,
economic, social, technological, legal, environmental factors. In context of Primark Company
various external factors which influence its growth are discuss below:
Political factors- In context of Primark, it face many difficulties because of political
instability. Change in political party cause change in rules and regulation which create
problem for company to efficiently perform their business operations. Selected firm
operates its business in various countries which help them in effectively analyzing
political factors and take effective action for reducing the impact of political instability in
business (Dunn and Jensen, 2018).
Economic factors- it refer to a kind of external factor in which different economic trends
and market changes creates risk for business. It includes various factors such as increase
and decrease in interest rate, inflation and defilation and so on. In context of selected
firm, it operates its business in various countries. Impact of economical factor is cover
from other developing country.
Social factors- In context of selected firm, this factor influence the company growth
most. This factor includes taste and preferences of customers in market which has a direct
impact on sales of company product. Selected company do proper research regarding
their employees taste and preferences which helps them in reducing the impact of this
factor (Hamilton and Webster, 2018).
Technological factors- It refers to a factor of external environment which includes the
rapid rate of change in technology which influence business. In context of selected firm,
they use latest technology and produce good quality products, which increase growth
option for company (Kasemsap, 2018).

Legal factors- It refers to the law and regulation of government such as tariffs, trading
policy, taxation, insurance policy, wages and salary and so on. In context of selected
company, it operates its business worldwide by fulfilling all legislation (Sinha, 2020).
Environmental factors- In context of selected firm for reducing the impact of this
external factor selected company give more focus on fulfill its corporate social
responsibility. This will create a good brand image of company and helps in its future
development (Trigkas, and et. al. 2020).
CONCLUSION
From above discussion on this report it is concluded that for success of any organization
it’s very important that they effectively analysis various external factors of business
environment. For effectively analyzing business Environment Company can use PESTEL
analyses for better understanding.
