INTRODUCTION
Global business environment refers to an atmosphere where organisation running and
operating their business transnationally by expanding their business in different nations. It can be
a process of running a business by considering the rules and legislations of different countries
and offering the products and services in diverse nations as per the consumers needs and
demands (Adekola and Sergi, 2016). This reflection report is based on the study of global
business environment in which defined about that how company operate their business globally.
There are several challenges are faced by the company due to legislations, business environment
and others. With this, the company also gain several advantages related to productivity and
profitability.
Self-awareness
When I was working in the research project which is related to global business
environment, I did my self analysis and find out that in some are I need to make improvement. I
analyse that i have not good communication skills in term of written because when i was share
information regarding the work people are clearly understand that what i want to say. So due to
which some activities and task are affected in negatively because the aims and objectives of
them, did not accomplish on time. But My colleagues responded me that I have good time
management skill and I also aware with it. My time management skill is good because before
starting the work I set time limits to each task and work and divided it according to that. It
generate in form my strength due to accomplish the task objectives on time or getting positive
outcome from that.
Teamwork
To complete that module, I was working a team in which number of people they are also
selected to devise their contribution for completing the project and provide desired outcomes. In
the team, there are number of people who are belong from different nations, culture, religions
etc. During the time of working in the team, I analysed that the teammates who belong from
China are little shy in comparison to us. Because they did not share their ideas and thoughts until
the team leader asked them to do it. The task which was allotted to us had a specific deadline so
due to performed in the team, they all were completed on time because there were number of
people who had different skills and competencies. There were no issues and conflicts were rise in

by organising decision making process in which each and every person make participation and
discuss their views. It helped me in improving my decision making skill.
Perspective of culture
At the time of working in the group, I learned various things form the teammates like
about their culture, values and beliefs. I learn about the Chinese language and culture because in
my team some people are from there. Within the team, there was not formulate any specific
culture for it and all the employees were free to work according to their own working style or
culture. This positively affected the team because all the member of the group completed their
work and task on deadline.
Research skill
When I was working in the module, the team leader segmented the work in different task
and allotted them to the team members as per their skills and knowledge. For completion of these
task, the research is an essential tool so that people can get effective information about their
work and fulfil the needs and requirements of the assigned task. But I have not good research
skills in term of critical evaluation. For example, my task was that how global business
environment affect the business of a company positively and negatively. But lack of critical
evaluation competency, I was not complete my work in effective manner. I have good data
collection, report writing, planning and scheduling skills which are helpful me to shape my work
in required framework. With the help of effective information gathering skill I collected
authentic and reliable information which is valid and relevant and able to frame the module
veritable.
Personal development plan
It refers to the activity of setting up aims and objectives. It can be a process of framing an
action plan which is based on awareness, values, reflection, goal setting and planning for
personal development and betterment within the context of self improvement (Barac and et. al.,
2016). During the time of working in the module, I analysed that I have some unimproved skills
and some required development. So I decided to point out that competencies which created

aware with all things and shared information. If any small scale issue arise then they are resolve
