2. Literature review
According to POWOH, (2016), globalisation is the core factor which has helped to integrate the
entire world in the one framework and flow. It is identified by the author that globalisation is the
core factor which has influenced the company’s and government to work with the integration.
Globalisation is considered the older phenomenon and concept which has developed a new
world. Information communication and technology is the core factor which has helped in the
enhancement of the globalisation. Developed information communication technology has
supported to share and communicate information in the fastest manner in the whole world. Use
of mobile devices and accessibility of the internet has supported to make a faster communication
within the organisation. Faster accessibility of internet has supported to people and as well as to
the companies to manage and run their business activities in the different nations to provide real-
time communication and information flow in the subparts of the organisation located into the
different countries. Potential growth is increased for the organisations which are working in the
international market which is also considered by the author as a key driver of globalisation.
As stated by Majumdar, (2016), globalisation has changed the working practices of the big
structured organisation by the modernization of the organisation and focusing on more
commercial objectives. It is essential for the companies which are having a big structure and
potential to deliver their products and services to the larger market can use the globalisation
policies to deliver a better outcome. It is essential for the organisation to make changes in the
internal policies to use the global business environment in a better manner. It is analyzed by the
author that most of the companies are using the global talent to deliver better outcomes through
the use of skills and talent of international employees. It is identified in this research that
globalisation enhances the potential opportunities for the business which is significant for the
organisation. It is essential for the companies which are working in the international market can
use global talent and business opportunities. International business opportunities enhance the
potential of the companies to enhance the sales and growth of the companies. The international
business environment provides opportunities for the sustainable growth and development which
has to be grabbed by the organisations.

According to Oladimeji, et. al. (2017), trade openness is the core factor of the globalisation
which eliminates the negative effect of globalisation on the small and medium-sized
organisation. The author has implemented this research on the Nigerien SME’s. It is identified
that globalisation makes huge negative effects on the small and medium-sized organisation. It
enhances the market competition in the organisation which effects on the organisation survival in
the targeted market. It is essential to adopt the globalisation in a positive manner by the small
and medium-sized organisations which help to enhance the potentials for success. It is essential
for the SME’s to understand the concept of globalisation and make changes in the internal
working policies accordingly to keep it in a positive manner. It is identified by the research
implementer that higher interest rate is also a negative effect of the globalisation on the SME so
it is essential for the SME’s to make an appropriate arrangement to sustain in the business
environment. The government should provide support to grow-up the SME to beat the market
rivalries increased from the global company’s entrance in the market. It is analyzed by the
author that the government should provide credit loans in the limited interest rates.
As stated by Mwika, et. al. (2018), globalisation effects positively on the developing and
emerging economies of the world. It helps to enhance the opportunities for the development.
Globalisation helps to enhance foreign investment in the economy which helps to enhance the
economic development and sustainability. It is essential for the small and medium-sized
organisations which are working in emerging countries. It is essential for the companies to
develop and convert their organisational policies to accept the globalisation in a positive manner.
The author has implemented the research to effects of globalisation on the SME in the Zambia
which is a developing country. This research paper is also produced to identify the effect of the
globalisation on the developing countries of the world.

3. Methodology
Research approach
Qualitative and quantitative are the two core research approaches which can be used in the
implementation of the research. The qualitative research is approach effective to use in those
types of research topics which are based on human behaviors, views, perceptions, and
suggestions (Lewis, 2015). This research approach considers the non-numerical information to
produce research outcomes based on the research topic. The quantitative research approach is
effective to use in those research which is based on the numerical and statistical information.
This research approach effectively generates and concludes the outcomes from the collected
data. The present research is based to identify the advantages and disadvantages of global
business environment so both of the research approaches will be used. Consideration of the
qualitative and quantitative research approach is stated as a mixed methodology or approach
which will be used in the present research (Neuman, 2013).
Research technique
Research can be implemented via different techniques which are given below to implement the
research –
Interview – This is a data collection technique which is used in the qualitative research
approach. It is effective to use in those research in which lesser participants are involved
in the research. Quantitative research approach contains a need for higher sample size and
on the other side, a qualitative research approach has a need of fewer sample size. Open-
ended questions are asked in the interview session which helps the research investigator
to implement the research (Palinkas, et. al. 2015).
Questionnaire – This is another method or technique of data collection which is used in
the implementation of the primary research. This method is used with the quantitative and
mixed methodology to gather information from the targeted audience. This technique is
effective to gather information from the larger sample size due to its efficiency to record
the information in an efficient manner. In this technique, the close-ended question is
asked from the research investigator.

Case study The case study analysis technique is used in secondary research
implementation. A case study analysis supports to analyze the different factors in the case
study which is similar to the current research topic.
Data collection methods
In the present research, questionnaire will be used to gather information. This technique is
effective to gather information from the targeted audience. Close-ended questions will be asked
from the targeted audience to gather information from them by applying the questionnaire.
Data sampling and analysis
It is essential to select the appropriate data sampling technique which can help to gather
information in a better manner. In this research, simple random sampling will be used to
implement the research. The sample size will be 50 o apply the data collection technique on
them. The samples for data gathering will be selected randomly without any system. In this
research, MS excel will be used to analyze the collected data in this research. The graphical
analysis will be implemented in the research which will help to produce effective outcomes in
the research (Palinkas, et. al. 2015).

4. Timeline of research activities
It is essential to produce a proper plan to implement the research in a better manner. It is
essential to classify the different research activities in the different timeframes to accomplish
those activities in the particular time period to submit the research at the appropriate time.
