storage systems on the rooftops of the fulfillment centre across the UK. Amazon is also focusing
on developing strategic relations and break out deals which would ensure that there is 100%
renewable electricity in the UK buildings which are owned by the company. The solar panels
will help the company also in contributing towards the carbon emission issue faced by the
company as this installation is expected to reduce the carbon footprint by 6,000 tonnes of CO2

conservation approach by 2020 (Aboutamazon.co.uk 2018). The time period that has been set is
covering 18 months starting from October 2018. The company has announced the installation of
the solar panels in 50 fulfillment centers around the world. This activity is aligned with the
