1. Introduction
The main motive and the objective of the study has been to elaborate and thus providing a
brief summary on the core selected article chosen for the study. The selected article for the
study has been on the state and the standard of the globalization in the year of 2019.
Moreover, it can be note that a brief summary of the article and identification of the four key
questions have been presented in the study which has also elevated the concept and the
adjacent features that are much related to the standard of the globalization in the recent years
(Ghemawat 2017).
It can be further observed that identification of the keywords in the article and assisting for
the further research questions have been represented in the study along with the detailed

2. Discussion
2.1 Brief summary of the article and identification of the four key questions
The main theme of the article is completely based on the issues related to the standard and the
present scenario of the globalization in the current year. In the recent years, it can be
observed that the both Brexit and the Donald Trump have shocked down the whole world as
they have started an internal warfare in between themselves. However, in the middle of the
warfare between the Trump and Brexit groups, it can be predicted that the globalization
issues will be resolved or will get collapsed in the near future (Ghemawat and Altman 2016).
On the other hand, it can be observed that there have been an enhancement in the waves of
the economic nationalism, which has recently proved that the world will be governed by the
global business index. It has been further stated by the waves of the economic nationalisms
that the year of 2017 had been one of the most globalized years of the world. In addition after
that the competition among the businessmen had also increases with the pace of the time
(Ghemawat and Altman 2016).
In this article, the author has summarized each of the situations related to the globalization
with the help of the each year from and after 2017. It can be further noticed that in the year of
2017, there have been a strong growth among all the companies of the world and there have
been a tough competition among the business organizations existing in the global
environment. According to the DHL Global Connectedness Index (DGCI), it can be further
observed that in the year of 2017, the proportions of the trade and the business in between the
national borders among the different countries have been elevated significantly. However, it
has been last observed in the year of 2007, which was also an year of the optimum
globalization (Ghemawat and Altman 2017).
According to (), it can be further observed that in the year of 2018, the pace of the
globalization has ended and there have been some of the major threats and the policies. In the
starting of 2018, it can be noted that there have been large disputes between the United States
of America and the other trade partners of the world. Due to the core conflict, the tariff has
been considerably increased and that has lowered the motivation of the international traders
and businessmen of the country as well. Thus in middle or the latter part of the year, many
countries have restricted their trade policies and screening of the core corporate takeovers,

slowed down the whole immigration system from the alien states and thus advancing their
data localization procedures.
Thus after the passing over the previous fiscal year, the strong pace of the globalization
trends has been lowered down and few aspects of the market headwinds and thus
identification of the market integration have been quite visible. In the first quarter of the
current financial year, it can be noted that the involvement of the large multinational firms
and the corporations has generated and increased the total global output by 9 per cent . As
stated by (), it can be further observed that import and the export of the goods and services
have also been increased by 29 per cent in the current fiscal year. Furthermore, the Gross
Domestic Profit of the developed nations as well as the developing nations have increased
considerably due to the major involvement of the multi-national organizations with the other
existing corporations of the global business environment.
In case of the current financial year, in the United States of America, the financial condition
has been elevated by 20 per cent along with the rise of the GDP. The government of the
country has also managed and adjusted the proximities of the cross=border trade with the
other neighbouring countries in the first quarter of 2019.
2.2 Identification of the keywords in the article and assisting for the further research
questions
In this article, it can be noted that the main keywords are the predictions related to the
collapse of the globalization within few years from the present and the core proclamation
about the scenario of the flat world. On the other hand, the DHL Global Connectedness
Index (DGCI) and the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) are the core key words of the article.
Other than these kinds of the keywords, the increase of the Gross Domestic Profit by 20 per
cent and the Time-tested International Strategies (TIS) are also the important key words,
which have been found in the article (Ghemawat 2018).
The selected article for the study has been on the state and the standard of the globalization in

be a rise of the aspects related with the Globalization, the businessmen and the marginal
position of the competitiveness will face a sheer backdrop and there would have been a shift
of the policies related to the change of the business environment. The competition can also
be possible if the companies of the business environment will accept the Time-tested
International Strategies (TIS) for the further development of the whole organization. In case
of the Time-tested International Strategies (TIS), there are three elements or the features,
which are much important for the organizations to adopt. The three assumptions and the
elements are Arbitraging, Adaptation and the Aggregation. Moreover, it can be noticed that
arbitraging and the aggregation directly involves with the functioning of the organizations.
In case of the second research question, Roccu and Talani (2019), have vehemently stated
that there are some of the unique situations and the places for the competition and that occurs
with the rise of the globalization. In the scenario of the integrated world, the business
organizations should compete with the largest business corporations of the world and with
those companies, which has high foreign assets. There are three foreign markets which are in
the United States of America, Europe and in Asia. From this continental market scenario, 60
per cent of the whole revenue is generated. However, in the current fiscal year, the
International Monetary Fund (IMF) has generated and predicted that the best location for the
competition are Canada or Mexico, Japan and the Euro zone (Amah 2019).
The third question involves some of the important techniques about the organization and that
can be managed with the help of the competitive strategies. The organizations also follows
the geographical or the global footprints for adjusting themselves with the other
organizational structures of the world. According to Talani (2019), it can be further noticed
that there are many organizations those have tilted towards the research and development
functions and with the core technological edges for boosting down their core adaptation
powers.
On the other hand, as stated by Draghi (2019), it can be further realized that there are some
of the chances and opportunities of the global organizations in stepping over to a better
society. However, as stated by the Edelman Trust Barometer, sealing of the core trust of the
consumers and thus waiting for respond and imposition of the government entities in favour
to the organization. Furthermore, the increase and elevation in the import and the export

thereby stepping over into new market trends and environment.
