Definition of global citizenship
Global citizenship is that idea in which all people have a right and their responsibilities so
that they all will come with being a member of the world with a whole world philosophies. The
main idea is such that the members are not only belongs to one or particular nation but their
rights are derived from the membership in broader class (Falk, 2018).
Advantages
The biggest advantages of global citizenship is such that it is the exceptionally human
attitudes of some citizens such that they embrace the global unification and its clearly depicts the
aim that all the people are equal and there is no reservation created by the society. Therefore, the
people are also judges through their nationality and even the value of human being also increases
for people and they are not treated as a representative of their own nationality (Davies, 2016).
Such that the people should think that they are the part of human not a people who belongs to
different countries.
Disadvantages
The global citizenship is neither practicable and nor desirable such that it is being as a
challenges, even the people who basically identifies themselves in a state of refugees and they
usually have a lack the protection of any government and this is due to recognition of any nations
(Carter, 2019). Through the global citizenship, the people may learn different cultures but
sometimes it also leads to creates differences between their culture and traditions as well and this
creates a negative impact upon the country and the citizen too.
