Global Identity: Explain the role of Global citizenship
Recently, an idea has come into prominence that is regarding all people must have the rights and
civic responsibilities that must come with being a member of the mother earth. This idea is called
Global Citizenship that believes in the citizenship of the world and not of a particular nation
(Gao, Zhang and Mittal, 2017).
There are numerous benefits of this idea such as it makes people believe that they are from one
place and have a single political identity and global citizenship is also responsible for breaking
geographical barrier. This enhances the integrity of people around the globe and can have a huge
role in promoting world peace and harmony. The global citizenship also has some road blocks.
The geopolitical difference between countries effect the idea negatively as a person traveling to a
nation will not be treated well if the countries have differences. Also, the global passport given to
the global citizens are mostly ineffective in many countries which is another disadvantage of the
idea (Shokef and Erez, 2015).
Immigration plays a vital role in promoting global citizenship. Immigrants help to bring two
cultures together and this help in improving the human integration. Immigration brings change in
culture for a better place. The sharing of culture promoted by immigration has resulted in a better
interconnection of the world. This enhances the economy and most importantly promotes peace
and harmony.
Artificial Intelligence: How could AI influence the future?
The constant growth in the technology has influenced a huge change in the society. People,
nowadays, are busier in the virtual life than the social life. The enhancement in technology has
led to the development of the Artificial Intelligence (AI). The AI is a manmade robot that
possesses human like characteristics. The innovation of AI was done with the intention of
making life easy (Russell and Norvig, 2016).
The AI can outperform any human ability. The AI, if used properly, can be beneficial for the
human kind. The AI can help human to perform tasks which are not possible by human

themselves. These things can make AI very efficient for the human use. Tasks can be performed
in a very effective and efficient way. But, AI is like a double edged sword. The constant use of
AI makes people lazier. People generally get used to the technology and will slowly rely upon
the AI to complete their task. This can be a huge disadvantage as this can lead to the AI to have a
control over the human race. Even though the AI is programmed to bring ease to our lives it also
develops a destructive method for achieving the goals. This can be resulted if the human goals
and the AI’s goals are not aligned properly. The AI tends to complete its task in any way
possible even if it hurts anyone (Li and Du, 2017). As the AI have no emotion, it will not
understand the rights and wrongs of the way a task must be completed.
The Purpose of Business: What is the purpose of Business?
A business is an organisation that exchanges goods and service for money. Business is a very
integral part of the world economy. Business provides a lot of purposes to the society. The main
purpose of any business is to find solutions to the prevailing opportunities and threats in the
society. The purpose is met by the entrepreneur’s ability of creative thinking and constant
innovations. The thinking and innovations plays a vital role in enhancing the human life and also
the economy of the society.
Another vital purpose of business is to earn profits. It is not a secret that the main motive of an
entrepreneur is to earn profit as much as possible (Bell, Bryman and Harley, 2018). The
entrepreneur works hard to initiate and operate a business in order to earn something from it.
Business is an important financial source for the entrepreneur. The profits are also necessary to
sustain the business for a long run. It will be impossible for a business if it earns profit less than
the interim cost of the business. In that case a business perishes.
One of the most vital purpose of business is to provide value to the customers. The value of the
product or service offered is directly proportionate to profit earned (Vladušic, Rebić and Hršum,
2016). If a business provide the best value through the product or service to the customers, there
will be an enhancement of the customer base. More the number of customer more will be the

revenue earned by the business. Hence, if the value provided by the business earns maximum
customer satisfaction, the profit of the business will significantly enhance.
The Value of Life: Laws relating to abortion, death penalty and assisted dying
Life is the most prosperous aspect of a person. It is a shame when a life is finished due
negligence on an individual’s part. Abortion is an activity of killing the unborn child in the
mother’s womb. Under many circumstances, abortion is legalised in the United Kingdom which
is based on the Abortion Act 1967 (Francome, 2017). The law on assisted dying is quite
hypothetical but British law denies patient right to physician’s assistance in ending one’s life.
The person that assists a dying person may end their life in facing prosecution with sentence of
14 years in prison (Dyer, White and Rada, 2015.). The DPP has also issued some of the guideline
that has effect to show that prosecting may not probably assist the better motives. In case of
death penalty, the act replaced the penalty of death for imprisonment for life (Davies, 2017). The
act provided the charge of capital murder that is being passed to be treated as simple murder, or
the sentences of death were commuted to sentence of life imprisonment.
