INTRODUCTION
Global citizenship term is defined for the people those who are well aware with their social
responsibilities and understand wider world. All people have own right and duties that makes
him or her member of world. Global citizenship raises personal respect and respect for others,
disrespect to any place or country where they live (de Andreotti, 2014). It also encourages people
to think enormously and wisely about what is fair and what can reduce harm to our planet. SO, in
general we can say that global citizens are individual's who are aware of their environment and
have knowledge of their surrounding and their role as world citizen or people who have courage
to take responsibility of their actions or someone who is offended by social injustice or persons
who are willing to make the world a better place to live in, which is more equitable and
sustainable place.
To be efficient Global citizens, people need to be creative, flexible and proactive. Global
citizenship in some ways can be said as brand of ethics which should be followed by every
individual or community or nations and should propose improvement seen through global lens. A
recent research suggest that recent university graduates are mostly required by employers to have
a so called soft-skills necessary for working in global environment (Dower and Williams, 2016).
Global citizenship mostly consist of three main points i.e. awareness, moral responsibility and
participation. Nowadays education for global citizenship is given that how it helps people
understand that how decisions taken by them can affect our and others lives.
