Reflection:
This assignment allowed the author to choose any topic of their choice in context of part 1 of the
assignment, and in this author choose issues and challenges related to the social
entrepreneurship. In part 1 author describes different components of the global entrepreneurship
and while researching this topic author consider the work of different researchers and discuss
theories developed by these authors in part 1.
In 2nd part of the paper author discuss the micro-enterprise group work under which author
discuss the opportunities and challenges faced by the micro-enterprise owners while establishing
their business in other countries.
While completing this task, author gets the chance to improve their skills under different areas
such as under area of communication, business, marketing, etc.
Through this assignment, author understands the diversity of the culture and other important
areas of the global entrepreneurship.
Belbin:
Meredith Belbin (1981) introduced the team model in context of teams framed for completing
particular task, and this model is widely in practice and has featured extensively in research on
teams at work. In context of this assignment, author and other members of the team analyzed
their point of view by using this model of Belbin (Aritzeta & Senior, 2007). This model is very
useful in context of getting knowledge in lieu of team’s perception. Following roles are played
by the members of the team in context of this model:

Through this model roles played by the team members define the pattern of behavior and
features of the one person’s behavior in context of ensuring team progress. In this author and
other team members get the benefit of self-knowledge and adjust their behavior as per the
demands emerged through external situations. Team role of the individual team members is
established in context of self-perception inventory in which few question decide the role played
by author and other team members in the team. on the basis of this theory, it is clear that team
authors and other team members work in effective way and ensure deep understanding of the all
aspects in lieu of this topic.
Gibbs Cycle:
Gibbs reflective cycle encourages the person to think systematically in context of phases or
activity. This model was introduced by Professor Graham Gibbs and looked in Learning by
Doing (1988). This model was influenced from the earlier theoretical model that is David Kolb’s
4 stages experiential learning cycle (1984). It must be noted that Kolb’s model was also called as
experiential learning model which actually means learning through experience, and Gibbs’
model is called as an iterative model which actually means learning through repetition. Through
this cycle, Gibbs represents almost 6 stages that are description, feelings, evaluation, analysis,
conclusion, and action Plan (Oxford Brookes University, n.d.).

In context of Gibbs cycle, work of the author includes all the necessary stages defined by the
Gibbs. As this assignment, defines all the relevant areas of the global entrepreneurship and also
microenterprise and understanding these concepts author feels more confident in this area of
business. This topic provides large number of opportunities in understanding the business
concepts in other than domestic country. However, some issues are also there when team
members do not give their 100% but this issue is resolved.
Panel feedback:
Panel feedback highlights both strong and weak points of the author while completing this
assignment and the understanding of the author in different areas such as management,
communication, writing, etc. In lieu of this assignment, Panel ensures positive feedback and also
highlight some weakness of the paper also which are later corrected.
In context of this assignment, Panel stated that group introduce the topic in well manner and
score 7 (more than average) for the same, but there will be more scope in case group presents
itself explicitly. In other words, topic introduced by the members of the group are introduced
properly but still there is more scope in the introduction, which means members must put more
content in the introduction part. Group communicates the topic in well manner and language

does not reflect any issue for which this group scores same score that is 7 which reflect more
than average. Content and visuals stated by the author in the assignment was very good but there
is possibility to enhance the content of few slides, as both scores 8 which reflect the good
performance. Visuals are good in this assignment as compared to content as this makes the
assignment more reflective in nature. Energy in the group is also high, but not all members
reflect this energy. It must be noted that, communication skills and attributes of the group play
major role in the performance because these are the only way through which a person can reflect
the things stated in his mind to the other. Therefore, communication play most important role in
nay presentation and for good presentation it is necessary for the person to contribute well. In
this context, group scores 7 which is more than average and panel also commented that group
can make it better by putting some extra efforts.
However, panel also highlighted some issues in which they state that group neglected these key
areas of the assignment such as ability of the group to answer the questions is good but some
members of the group are more articulate as compared to other members of the group. As group
does not defines the meaning of the Millennial, and panel considered it strange because this
actually asks about the target audience. Another area such as co-creation is missing in this
assignment.
Conclusion defined by the author is very good and straight to the point, as it scores 8 which is
considered as very good score. Panel also state some recommendations such as Group must use
some real phases to make the business reality and for this purpose group can use fair trade cotton
should be used like M&S and H&M. Panel further stated that in context of supply chain group
consider the material sourcing from the other country, and they do not consider the local
communities for the same. Group also fails to insert the cash requirement for the business in the
assignment and lastly there are differences in the performance of the group members which
reflect lack of co-ordination. Panel also highlights the comfort of the author with the technology.
Overall score of the assignment is 65 out of 90 (72%) and this is the good score, but little more
efforts on part of group members can increase the number of scores.

Conclusion:
This task helps the author in improving their skills under different areas such as under area of
communication, business, marketing, etc., and in understanding the diversity of the culture and
other important areas of the global entrepreneurship. Reflection of the work is completed on the
basis of three theories that are Belbin, Gibbs Cycle, and panel feedback. Through the model of
Belbin, role played by author and other members in the team is determined and also their
individual perception. In context of Gibbs cycle, work of the author includes all the necessary
stages defined by the Gibbs. As this assignment, defines all the relevant areas of the global
entrepreneurship and also microenterprise and understanding these concepts author feels more
confident in this area of business. This topic provides large number of opportunities in
understanding the business concepts in other than domestic country. Lastly, panel feedback
approach stated that author discusses each and every aspect related to this assignment. Through
this assignment, author develops skills and knowledge in management of business overseas, and
also understands the detailed concept of micro-enterprise owners.
