INTRODUCTION
Events with diverse reasons and aims are coordinated and held worldwide. Events are described
as a series of anything which took place at the time and place of the event. These can occur
domestically and globally, based on the focus and conditions of the facilitator (Skirving, et.al
2019). The event & event business has evolved on a larger scale over a shifting length of time.
This research seeks primarily to explain how world events in various regions impact industries.
This article is therefore about the London Exhibition Centre, a conference centre in East London.
IT is purchased by the National Fair Corporation of Abu Dhabi. This report is split into the tasks
A and B. Part A contains a range of global events, elements impacting market development,
importance, legacy and consequences of a range of global events, management techniques, and
Part B involves presentation wherein macro-environments and SWOT analysis have a positive /
negative influence.
MAIN BODY
Part A
Task 1
P1 Analyze the diversity and operation of the global event sector and its position of different
forms of social activities.
In Great Britain the nation has a strong economy which contributes to a wider variety of other
major industries. In this dynamic age, there have been several emerging enterprises that are
creating more new companies worldwide (Liu and Buck, 2020). At a larger stage, the variety of
the event sector has grown and grown. There are also different kinds of incidents that are
categorised. The grade is also graded according to scale, distance, composition, etc. Different
modes of gatherings, such as super, hall, local society and several others, are present. The event
sector in the UK accounts for 30% of the business segment. It is also reported that most venues
are used for nation events. Thus, the following explains further grouping:

Mega events- Mega Events are described by a specific 'power' as once-in-a-life sports events of
global magnitude which have extraordinarily high media attention and effects for the local
people (economic, tourist and facilities) because of importance or magnitude of the event. They
define the type of activities hosted or arranged globally. They are mainly targeted at producing
rising profits for a broader variety. FIFA World Cup, for instance, that takes place at a global
level. It further promotes the tourism industry so it draws more visitors, supervision, etc.
Hall mark- They exist in society or in large locations. This is usually achieved in a short time to
accomplish goals. Its goal is to raise visibility, increase tourism’s views and experiences on a
wider scale. Sports or community are often remembered.
Local community- This is for particular reasons or events that are interested with a small range
of visitors, travelers and residents. This are coordinated on a small scale but with a specific
reason. This type must be taken into consideration, for example, parades, ceremonies etc. In
comparison, the facilitator land or location is ultimately carried out.
Structure of event industry- A framework represents the production or mechanism by which
industry carries out its core operations, scheduling and many other operations. With the
extension of its operations, the training / framework have evolved with event market (Gu et.al
2019). In existing cases, contracting parties and partnership associations are hosted. BBC Hays
Market held for instance nice food shows. It has been a big source of revenue for many other
entities with this modified system. The framework is then referred to below-
Vendors- The structure of the events has shifted in the tourism sector and now sellers are treated
as significant. This is because it is responsible for coordinating resources, data, proposals, etc. In
addition, at activities like sound & light, worker management, etc. they interact often for various
types of divisions.
Venues- It occurs as a result in a particular area, region or world. The institutional aspect is
important, since the management of locations is responsible for monitoring all events at a given
event. Without them they cannot know when an event will be held.
Industry associations- The organization of industry applies to all categories of bodies working in
the sector of activities. They and methods are applied correctly for all tough decisions. They are

considered as the foundation of a case. As for ESAE, the European Society of Organizations
Administrators is an organization.
Roles and responsibility of events-
Roles and liability for activities have been raised to a greater degree in this dynamic market.
Consequently, some forms of functions are discussed below.
• The position & management of events varies from business to sector. Like mega-events, the
primary function of handling tourist destinations more efficiently is to serve as a source of
revenue.
• Another example of the role of local community gatherings is to bring all participants from
local communities to establish partnerships.
The diversity of the world event is perceived to be greater when it is carried out in a
multinational manner. Roles of different forms of events are then briefly defined.
P2 Demonstrate factors that have globally influenced event production in the sector.
This sector’s growth is rising more widely. At worldwide level, several kinds of variables impact
the industry increased competition, workers etc. Various categories of elements impact the
market and these are discussed below-
Social media- Events take place internationally and impact the business environment of many
emerging small and medium-sized companies focused on events. The growth of this field has
influenced a wider scale because of intense rivalry (ZHANG, Iyakaremye and Qing-Long, 2020).
Social media also penetrated the industry and many businesses use social networks to raise their
brand visibility. In addition, the development of the events industry has been driven by the use of
social apps such as face book, e - commerce sites like Amazon and advertisement through web
apps.
Tourism industry- This aspect has also deliberately influenced the growth of the industry. In
regards to the tourism region, people will change with shifting minds and this leads to systemic
incidents and makes it virtually impossible to devise a correct plan for them. This has a negative
Document Page
effect both on their development and change. The changing tourism industry climate has a
worldwide effect on activities.
Jobs/ employment- If the COVID 19 pandemic persists, the unemployment rate is rising
exponentially. It impacts the tourism industry as workers switch from work to work. This affects
the sector's growth, as trained workers transfer non skilled individuals into the field of activities.
This impacts their operating structure in a larger range too adversely.
The above mentioned matter demonstrates that it is challenging for them to properly take
decisions because of factors impacting the growth of the event industry. Different variables
influence the process of events that hamper their production in a wider perspective.
TASK 2
P3 assess the importance, effect and significance on the world in which they work of a series of
international activities.
There are different kinds of settings wherein activities rely on their needs and demands. Such
events need money, personnel and environmental solutions. Consequently, impact is listed below
in the working environment-
Social/ cultural effect- Environmental consideration is essential in this sector, as it represents the
intent of such activities. Local or group gatherings influence society and culture as they do not
incorporate territories, traditions or ideologies, and even more. It is not necessary for anyone to
partake in certain activities that influence people's actions within this community or society.
Physical & environment effect - In this scenario, the Chinese New Year festival can be viewed as
an international festival. It changes the health atmosphere because fireworks are coordinated in
this case, shows of noise and noisy songs (Malik, et.al 2020). It adversely affects human health
due to noise emissions and contributes to other health problems.
Political effect- Factors affected by political decisions; in local areas, nations or the international,
taxation, housing, public service, etc. External factors: in the surrounding population or in the
country as a whole, facets such as demographics, social trends, habits, relocation, etc. Such
Document Page
activities take place in a political climate with a changing span of time. This climate is
influenced by world politics, as legislation, policies and laws vary from place to place.
Therefore, their case operation has a detrimental impact because stringent laws differ from place
to place.
Events legacy- The basic principle is that the heritage of an occurrence is the cultural, social and
personal long-term beneficial effect that it has on the hosted environment ( for example,
community enhancement). The history of the event is both scheduled and unscheduled. It's
positively and negatively. The event’s influence often influences its occurrence, so it
demonstrates how old the venue is and what other things it reflects on. For starters, the 2012
London Olympics fell in this group. This legacy of events can be calculated or physically
determined and shaped London’s economy by supplying access to new places, strengthened
facilities. In addition, it had an economic impact in the period as London increased £14.2 billion
in two years.
Social environment- The cultural, social, socioeconomic and social contexts mean the immediate
physical and social world in which people exist or what is occurring or evolving (Pilger, Ceranna
and Brown, 2019). It covers the community in which the individual has been trained or lives and
the people and organizations they associate with. The bulk of activities in a social and cultural
setting are also used. Their society, beliefs, etc. are influenced. Global orchestrated activities
influence society because they alter people's attitude, actions, etc.
This issue thus indicates that the price of events has enhanced and the legacy of activities is
important, as it helps to properly analyze the impacts. There are wider and broader ranges of
world incidents that fall under grouping. Moreover, the legacy of the idea has impacted the case
setting in which it exists was addressed
P4 Focus on providing management tools for the responsible production of a sequence of world
events.

Management techniques in the corporate sector are critical for the industry of activities. That is
because judgments or actions or procedures cannot be taken without use of these techniques.
Management practices are then addressed as follows.
Balanced scoreboard- It is known to be one of the many useful techniques and businesses are
evaluated for their social and economic effects in this success or degree of output of activities
(Denayer, 2019). By incorporating both quantitative and qualitative methods, it is simpler for
event organizations to assess their success by using this technique. It helps to accurately endorse
activities worldwide. This aims to strengthen the way the operations are done.
Economic impact studies- It is a method of strategy where the industry of events undertakes
thoroughness review of economic research such that information and new insight from them are
valuable to the organization. Mostly the government embraces the incidents in a constructive
way internationally. These analyses of the economic effects contribute to new regions being
accessed. Economic impact studies are therefore important to improve profound awareness in
numerous aspects.
Community perception of event- In such strategies, it is a technique for performing a poll using
an instrument that aims to analyze the view of the host population or the organizers of activities.
Often, local people's opinions or ideas are evaluated using a questionnaire or instrument. It is
also more powerful management strategies that help to explain how a single person feels about
the real event in which decisions are taken (Bates, Cinar and Nalepa, 2019).
It is considered that these management techniques can essentially be implemented following
consideration of the above section, so that effective actions are made. It is often shown that they
ought to be used so that everything is handled in the right manner. It is therefore assessed that
using these strategies results in an adequate achievement of the targets.

Part B
Task 3
P5 briefly explain macro climate for the world event sector positive / negative consequences.
Macro environment contributes to all external variables that influence company processes or
activities. This has a significant influence on the workflow of the business, which contributes to
difficulties. Global activities take place at global forums and run appropriately. The following
explains the macro-environment effect on world activities.
Social/ cultural- Events shape culture and society since celebrations influences the culture and
community of many citizens at world events such as Vietnamese New Year, because not all
people in England or from other countries participate.
Positive- this social / cultural external influence had a positive impact as this occurrence had
built a good association.
Negative effect- External factor has a detrimental effect on this worldwide phenomenon, so it
threatens the beliefs of people who do not attend (Qie, Luo and Herrmann, 2019).
Physical and environment- This external aspect often influences world affairs since many people
are involved directly and have difficulties.
Positive effects- For example-Olympics 2012 is planned internationally and have influenced the
national event industry since the degree of rivalry between countries has risen and their
productivity has improved
Negative effects- This major event therefore damaged the nation's monetary capital and had a
negative impact on the overall.
Tourism- Another macro climate wherein the world event sector is impacted is that the bulk of
activities have been popular due to visitor visits.
Positive aspects- The macro climate improves the eyesight of visitors & facilities, enabling the
world event market to extend its functions.
Document Page
Negative- It impacts the global event market, since event managers cannot assemble citizens for
activities without any of the tourist economy.
Influence on decision making & organizational behavior-
Macro climate also dominates the decision-making of event industries, since variables such as
the market, political variables, and economic conditions make it hard for them all to make
positively-adapted choices, such as adjusting policies, etc. Furthermore, the macro environmental
influences management activity in a negative fashion that directly contributes to the shift in the
activity of the workers in the world event sector. It is said that it is important to be conscious of
this impact on decision-making and organizational actions so as to meet objectives properly.
The above section thus demonstrates that the macro environmental impacts have interrupted a
wider scale the entire global event sector. Consequently, it is necessary to be conscious of certain
consequences in order to ensure everything is handled in the right manner.
P6 Develop a SWOT study for a given case to analyze and determine the main conditions for
good event planning.
SWOT Analysis- SWOT analysis is a strategic strategy tool used to recognize capabilities,
vulnerabilities, prospects, and risks connected to a company's competitiveness or project design.
SWOT analysis (or SWOT matrix).
This system that works across 'business back structures' is planned for use at preparatory
decision-making periods and can be used as a method for determining the competitive role of
different entities (profit corporations, local and national governments, non-governmental
organizations, etc.) It is a business instrument for defining and accessing internal capacities. It is
time-consuming as it involves deep knowledge that needs to be evaluated on the market. Mega
activities are being organized for the FIFA World Cup, and are important to the event
management industry (McCloskey and Borodina, 2020). It is then addressed further as follows.

Strength
The strongest point of the football world cup is
the fact that it boosts and increases the levels of
the tourist sector.
Weakness
As the program is structured in global terms, it is
hard to provide participants with the requisite
resources
Opportunity
These activities boost the financial return of an
operational nation.
Threats
The greatest challenge is the instability of
conditions that can occur mainly political & can
influence the whole system of activities due to
some external influences.
Criteria needed for successful planning of events-
For good event preparation, requirements that benefit the execution of activities must be known.
Since decision-making will not be done without them. Such parameters are then defined as
follows-
Develop vision/ goals- This is one of the most critical conditions for the performance of an
event, since an event cannot be adequately organized without the need for an examination of
vision or objectives.
Document Page
Organizing of team- This is another crucial step that must be concentrated because the unit
contributes to teamwork, coordination and collaboration. It's quick to sustain work with the
support of team building.
Decide budget- It is often necessary to decide on a budget for an activity in order to efficiently
process money, staff and other relevant work. Plan aims to effectively plan and use financial
capital.
Launch date- It is also important for a good preparation, as the date of release is too essential as
the event planning is being handled at the point. Since start date helps to allocate time
appropriately (Chatzopoulos, Zampieri and Toreti, 2020).
Master plan- Lastly, a strategic plan is required for good preparation to allow the strategic plan to
be modified as a replacement if any difficulty or improvement is to be created in the final stage.
The planning processes must be planned so that protection for activities is calculated.
The above-mentioned topic therefore states that SWOT analysis allows access the utility or not
of a particular case. Furthermore, this framework is used to assess the enhancement region for an
incident. In addition, important conditions for the good preparation of an event are identified.
CONCLUSION
After reviewing the aforementioned report, global activities have a wide variety of events which
have a variety of phases. With time-limit improvements and an overall market improvement, this
business is growing. Diversity of world activities, elements influencing event sectors has been
discussed. In addition, SWOT analysis & critical parameters for effective event preparation are
explained. It is studied that global activities are influenced by several causes that impact the
sector directly.
