INTRODUCTION
The term Global event industry is explicated as a sector that manage and control the
events at international level. Olympics, Asia cup, World cricket championship, international
industry meetings and many more are the example of global event. This events perform and
manage work according by engaging participation from multi-national level. In simple terms,
events are organised at global level with the provision of huge investor that invest in event with
use of global branding skills. This report is written from perspective of London exhibition centre
and it provide services to manage events such as Hallmark events, Mega and sport events etc. at
global level. Further, this report highlights on impact of global events on environment and the
factors which influence on global events (Diffenbaugh and et., al. 2017). In the last, influence of
macro-environment on the decision-making and organisational behaviour will also be included in
upcoming report.

P1 Examine the diversity of the global events industry, including its structure and organization
and the role of different types of events in society
In order to make an event more successful society plays an important role and it is because
they or audience is the one who purchase tickets from organiser. Along with this failure and
success of event depends on sale of tickets. Some events which are undertaken in the report is
mention as follow:
Size of event- Each event relates with different size and this refers that some events are
performed at a large and some at small level. Like, Mega events are performed at global level
and they are surrounded with a large media coverage. While, other events are too small and it
define individuals from a particular community engage in this events (George and Ray, 2017).
Moreover, event size provide assumption of required investment, audience involvement and
branding efforts etc. Size of event with their type is mention as follow:
 Local or community event- There are different events managed for a specific reason
with a motive of gathering, making decisions and any other purpose. Society of a
particular area organise local event. On the other side, community events also aids
persons to formulate specific decisions.

 Major event- This type of events are formulated with a broad scale and interest of
media and they are also capable for attracting more number of visitor in order to
enhance profits for business. Example of major event is the British formula one grand
prix that is organised by Silverstone.

 Hallmark events- It refers to the event which are become so popular that are now
recognised as the spirt and ethos of town, region or city. This also results events obtain
wide-spread recognition and awareness which is beneficial to attract more number of
persons. Further, uniqueness of event is the major reason of successful hallmark event
(Plikas, Dimitrios and Plikas, 2015)
 Sport event- This type of event is managed and hold with motive of managing sport
event and competition. In the competition of sport event different countries take
participation so players from different country visit and play in host country. Grand prix
Athletics, National championship and FIFA are the major sport event.

Event industry evolve with surrounding of different individuals that conduct and arrange
events as well as parties that is used for completion of task with motive of improving economy
of a country. For example- Grand prix source is considered as an example and it is used by event
industry as a one-off set event that work with motive of improving economy capability country.
This relates with information which is gained by management through generating results that is
used in improving all information by analysing all factors which relates with organisation at
global level. Some factor which influence on global event are mention as follow:
 Types of event according to emergence and growth- All type of event that is managed
by respective organisation consider motive and goals according to type of event. The
growth and emergence factors that is used for performing the events is increasing with
rapid speed. It is because most of the organisation and individuals also are active on
social media platform so almost at each place events are performed or organised at small
level (Rogers, 2013). This also determine that events are organised by organisation for
completion of task with enhancing results through addressing person need at global
level. Moreover, the origin of UK conference industry lies in political and religious

congress for managing trade with other country. It results that with end of twentieth
century person from all areas recognise growth of events.
 Value and contribution of event for global economy- Across the UK, the new

of person life (Wang and Snoussi, 2014). There are different task is benefited which undertake
positive connection for performing task according to vision by which popularity and support
with event enhance through making better values for obtaining better values that make optimise
results and benefits to complete work with arrangement of managing strategies for longer period.

to English country value and performance (Zaccardi and et. al., 2016). Further, economy is

Negative- The cost to manage operation and functions of organisation is complex and this results
it is complex for management to define legacies and policies that aids persons for managing
