INTRODUCTION
Leadership refers to the qualities of person which is used by them for the purpose of
managing and influencing the will and the attitude of the employees towards the achievement of
organisational goals and objectives. It is one of the most important and valuable concept of the
business which helps to established effective control over the workforce of the organisation.
Leadership helps the organisation to operate their business in merits by the development of
different types of team in the organisation which helps to conduct different types of project in
effective manner. The importance of leadership in international or the global are arena are very
high there are many leaders which becomes successful. This report is based on the analyses of
global leadership and the different types of traits which the person required to become effective
leader.
MAIN BODY
Theories of leadership
Great man theory :- It refers to those theory which reflects that the leaders are born not
made. It is one of the most oldest theory of the leadership which proves to be wrong by many
leaders because they have developed leadership skills with the helps of practise and hard work.
Trait theory :- The trait theory of the leadership states that the inner traits and the
abilities of the personal makes them effective leader. It is required for them to analyse traits so
that it can be used for their personal growth.
Skill set theory :- This theory of the leadership states that the success of the leaders are
depend upon three dimensions which is technical, human and conceptual. It is important for the
person to make these dimensions as their strength (Cederholm, Krznaric and Pirlich, 2020).
Style theory :- The style theory of the leadership focuses on the actions of the leaders
without focusing on the traits. This theory of the leadership states that the followers of the
leaders are motivated by the actions of the leaders.
Situational theory :- It is related to those theory of the leadership which enables the
leaders of the organisation to use different style of leadership at different types of situation. The
actions or the strategies of the leaders are depend upon the situation.

Contingency theory :- This theory of the leadership states that there is not specific style
of leadership are present which is effective in all the situations of the market so it depends upon
the contingency that which theory used by the leader.
Transactional theory :- This theory of the leadership is depend upon the concept of
something I return. If the managers of the organisation wants something from employees then
they have to give something to them.
Transformational theory :- It refers to those theory of the leadership under which the
leader working with the employees and teams. The motive of the leader is to analyse the number
of wants so that it can b satisfied in effective manner.
Exchange theory :- This theory suggests that it is important for the leaders and the
followers to have effective exchange theory of leadership which helps to manage the
organisation in effective manner.
Servant theory :- Greenleaf considered that the leader should put the emphasis on their
team members so that they can become autonomous and free-thinking.
Leadership refers to the personal traits of the person which is used by them to influence

of the leadership under their organisation because it helps them to established effective control

arena. There are large number of organisations are present in international markets which
achieve huge success in their respected industries. Leadership is the aspect which plays main role
under the success of these organisations. Ir is important to make analyses of these leaders so that
effective judgement can be made about the importance of leadership.
There are number of leaders are present such as Jeff bezos, Elon musk , Bill gates and many
more which established the organisation and makes the multinational on the basis of their
leadership approach. It is important to analyse the type of leadership which they have follow in
their management so that effective judgement can be made.
