Reflection 4:
I am very happy that I got this opportuinityopportunity for being a part of this project
which not only help in getting me aware about the several kind of bio tecghnologytechnology
that are used within agricultural industry for imrprovingimproving iotsits practices but also
support me in getting my personal development doendone throughout this project. The main idea
behind this project is to learn about the several kinds of Bio Technology that are being developed
with in the agricultural sector for improving the quality of practices that are being performed
within this area. The experience throughopit this project was great and I presented my learning
and experience with the help of self reflection which is presented below:
Personal reflection
In order to execute this project a team was formnulated which work toward gathering the
infomrtaion and try to provide action that can be takern to overcome the challenges or ixssues
that agricyultural industry is already facing wit
So, for presenting my overall experience effectively I decided to make use of reflection
model which help me in determining the issues in more and by analysing them develop an action
plan to perform future course of actions effectively. So, for this I make use of Kolb reflection
cycle which is a framework that consists of four stages such as concrete experience, reflective
observation, abstract conceptualisation and active experimentation. These stages are explained
below:
Primary
Concrete experience: -In order to execute my work with this module in which I went
through number of experiences or situation which I deeply observe as a part of this framework. I
worked to gather information which brings several of experience i.e. uncover several new facts
about agriculture sector to me, find it difficult to judge over right information for project, less
access to sources etc. these all help a lot in determining how to manage work in all situation.
The project performed over an idea to analyse the several issues that are being present within the
agricultural sector. For this project I was assigned with a team so that we would be able to
determine the scope of present technology. Here we also required to evaluate the innovation
developed under this project to ascertain whether the model will be helpful in resolving the issue
of agriculture industry. I was very excited about the project as it is a knowledge enhancing
project. While we started work each individual is assigned with separate work and I asked my

team mate to gather information for the project. So, I started studying over the issues present in
industry, what technology has been introduced etc. But this was not a easy task for me I found it
very difficult and time consuming to gather al the data effectively. This is so because I have
limited access to sources which make it difficult to gather more information. But then I started
collecting information from available sources but when I assess those, everything was just seem
to be important from the project point of view which in turn has taken more time of mine to
evaluate data and convert it into meaningful information for project.
Additional I also decided to present the information from the perspective of the company
to provide an idea regarding the capability that a company hold or whether it is able to comply
with the plan which is going to be prepared. So, I contributed in this by providing my decision
to firstly go through the capability for the company to comply with technologies i.e. transgenic
and artificial intelligence in working and then perform an action plan testing to determine its
feasibility. So ever body in team was happy with this idea and my involvement in team work
then I also contributed in this testing process by providing relevant information which is required
for performing this.
Secondary
Reflective observation: After that I decided to reflect over the things which I observed
in term of what insight I actually get while coming in contact with when the simulation testing
was performed. Through this project I observed that simulation testing is very much helpful in
determine the solution for the issues that are prevailing within the agriculture sector by making
right use of bio technology.
In order to contribute my part within the group I decided to gather information regarding
the capability of the companies in order to make use of advanced bio technology as my idea was
to determine whether the company would be able to implementing these technologies in order to
resolve issues. First of all I decided to evaluate detailed information regarding the agricultural
sector i.e. several technologies and innovations which are used to developed and managed with
in the sector and areas in which they support in improving the practices of agricultural sector.
While investigation and evaluating the data I found that transgenic technology is most effective
and appropriate method that supported many of the organisation to improve the quality of the
seed using scientific injecting process. This seems very interesting to me and also essential for
my future job perspective so I decided to further research about it. Firstly I decided to gather

information about the company’s practices, current capability, strategies it adopt and actions that
it mainly taken in past to resolve such issues of agricultural setting. I take up this role as research
is my interest area and I known several tricks to gather most relevant and accurate information
without wasting time over inappropriate sources. Other than this my crucial thinking skill also a
plus point for me that help in conducting eth investigation much effectively by presenting
information with the logical facts. While collaborating with team I found that my communication
skills are not appropriate which is creating issue for me in team work.
In order to perform this project, we are assigned with an online platform where we all the
member of team get connected. It is an online place where we can interact with one another, can
made discussion over the assigned which is assigned to us and can get information regarding the
tasks that are involve within the project that we are required to perform. This platform supports a
lot in getting a regular guidance over the things that we are required to execute and schedule
related with each of the task that are assigned to us. Other than this it also provide a status
regarding the progress of work and task that are being presented or due so that their always
remain a trigger of dealing which make us active to perform task on timely manner and submit it.
But in order to perform well in this I decided to firstly strengthen my bond with the other team
mates so that when required I would be able to take guidance and support of the team members
in order to complete my task. Other than this they can also provide me an idea regarding the
things which I am taking in wrong side so that errors can be eliminated in advance. Hence for
building up strong relationship I decided to build up trust among them by communicating each
thing which I going to perform and take their consent to ensure that nothing remain hidden. This
help me in taking the members on my side and build up strong relationship with them. This
remain successful and worked toward creating a foundation for my work as I get appropriate
guidance from my team members. This feels so great as everyone was very happy with me and
they are likely to support me and guide me for my work. In response with this the team member
provide me with relevant guidelines through which can start and direct my research which
support a lot in finding the most reliable data.
Abstract conceptualisation: -After that by moving to the third stage I went through a
detailed analysis of information presented in stage two for ascertaining what was correct and
what area required to be improve, so that action plan can be formulated to cover up areas that
won’t get right. Other than this, for the effective execution of the project it was also crucial for

me to remain engaged with eth information which I gather and the information that I get through
simulation testing. At that time everybody was confused to start from where, then I suggest to
firstly evaluate the gathered information in detailed manner So for this I decided to perform in
depth study in this regard and present with information about several issues that are prevailing in
agriculture sector and reason behind present of those issue. This information supports my team in
taking decision regarding set of actions to be perform to deal with this issue. But after all this I
perform my investigation part effectively, by gathering data from the company regarding its
capability, technology it uses, technical expertise it maintains and capability of employees to
work by making use of technology. This supported my team in comparing the requirement of
changes with the availability to form up better decision.
Future Plan
Active experimentation: In stage four I decide to make the action plan into actually
executing by improving the information which I provided earlier and make it more relevant to
ensure plan get work. From overall experience I came to learn that in order to ensure the success
of particular project nothing goes to be perfect at one end rather an there must be a regular
analysis of plan so that errors can be determine and further actions can be taken into
consideration to overcome them and provide positive result.
Throughout the conduction of this project work I realise the importance of team work and
how it helps in becoming successful in provided task. As I am not much into performing group
work well, I came to learn about several things that are helpful in performing team work
effectively which I require to improve for future practices.
So, to continue with this in future I made certain views abouitabout the things that I will
perform in ordreorder to approach a team work.
