INTRODUCTION
There are so many global issues in the world such as food security, poverty, Human
rights and maternal health. The current study is based upon the global issue i.e. Poverty
SECTION 1
Poverty
Poverty is one of the global issue that affect the world's entire system in negative way. As
.. stated that the main reason of poverty is changing trends in the country's economy which
further associated with the lack of education, high divorce rate, overpopulation and some
epidemic disease as well. According to UNICEF, there are more than 21000 children die each
day because of poverty only and on the other side more than 800 peoples do not have enough
food to eat (Noël, 2016). Apart from this, poverty also encompasses the low level of health and
education, poor access of a water and sanitation and due to low income, people in the world are
consider in below poverty line.
SECTION 2
Relevance of the text
As per the newspaper, The Guardian, which stated that there have been an extraordinary
achievement from the past 15 years such that extreme poverty has fallen and even the child death
are also halved. But still, the rate of global poverty reduction is slowing and the number if poorer
in Africa is still rising. The issue is increasing in such a level, so that World Bank is also launch
'Human Capital Project', But it is not successful (As global poverty declines, we should beware
the new class wars, 2018). Though, in China, as per world bank figures, 800 million people have
risen out of poverty from last 40 years thus, this also shows that the poverty is fallen from 36%
to 10 %.
SECTION 3
Own response
Yes, I am completely agreed that poverty is one of the global issue which every country
is suffering from. But on the other side, I am also agreed with the statement that government uses
different strategy in order to overcome this issue and it is successful but the outcomes comes
slowly. Even the I am also agreed with the statement that poverty decline or fall slowly as per the
data available in the newspaper. On the other side, Dixon and Macarov, (2018) states that the

poorest people will have less access to health, education and other services as compared to rich
people. Further, poorer are also marginalized from a society and also have a little representation
that also make it even more hard to escape poverty. Further, it has been realised from the above
that poverty is one of the huge global issue and there is a need to mitigate from this by creating
jobs, raise minimum wages, government should also invest in high quality child care and early
education and also establish the schedule that work (Hulme, 2015). Therefore, it these steps may
take in effective manner then it will help to decreases the global issue up to some extent.
CONCLUSION
By summing up above, it has been concluded that Poverty is consider one of the global
challenge or issue and the government is also initiating many strategies in order to overcome the
problems and support people by providing employment opportunities as well.
