Listening: In simple words, one of the most critical skills that a project manager
should possess is active listening by understanding the message that is used for
communication and through various feedbacks and questions understand the word and
respond to it with clarity (Sunindijo, 2015). Asking a question, it will benefit both parties to
assume it’s all part and parcel of active listening. It will help the people to clear their
problems and any conflicts.
Friendly Environment: A friendly way will help to motivate the project team in an
open and mixed up communication. In personal relationship trust and respect play a vital role.
It will earn and get from an experience. People will be happy and they will happly
communicate with project manager.
Question 2: How important is a global mindset for communicating in today's project
environment? Why?
When people communicate, they are establish “commonness” with other people.
People, trying to exchange information, between the project team members. Communication
is not a finite resource, and it is needed to use this resource effectively and efficiently
(Blinder, 2016). This happen because; project manager has to take care of all the factors that
will effect on the communication. So a project manager should always have a global
mindset and tolerance towards all team members and try to understand and accept the views.

throughout their career?
Project managers often agree that effective communication to stakeholders
throughout the project lifecycle is an essential core competency. Some tips to communicate
more effectively:
Making conversation as a priority – Communication is the main part in project
planning (Henderson et.al, 2016).
Try to keep the things positive – Don’t hide damaging information from the
stakeholders, maybe they are tensioned about project. Tell about the accurate
information in which help is needed.
Try to make the communication path – Electronic mail are best, but it should
have a face-to-face talks and calls (Arnold et.al, 2015).
Try to keep the updates concise and timely – Do not hold stakeholders with
details. Try to keep projects updated right and in perfect time.
