Introduction:
Companies around the world irrespective of their size and scale of operation utilise
the quality as one of the main tools for the performance objective in the organisation. It
enables the employees and the employers to organize and plan their work in order to fulfil the
organisational goal while fulfilling the personal goals (Wang et al. 2015). This report is
aimed to provide a brief overview regarding the evaluation of performance objective that will
allow to understand and refurbish the idea regarding the quality management for better
performance (Mahadevan 2015). For better understanding, this report will consider the Tesco
PLC as the selected organisation because it is one of the largest retail chain in the world that
possess well defined performance measurement framework. Utilising the same, the report
will portray the way of achieving efficiency through performance and then it will showcase
the impact of the operations management on categories of stakeholders in the firm. Moreover,
the report will focus on the constituting operation of Tesco PLC utilising strategic decision

Way of achieving efficiency through performance of Tesco PLC:
From the previous literary evidences it has been observed that the firm that maintain
an effective quality management system they face higher efficiency in their firm through

then it can be seen that the quality objectives of the firm has driven the strategic
improvements within the organisation significantly elevating the overall performance of the

firm. Way of achieving performance through the quality objectives by the Tesco PLC are
simple and effective in nature. In order to maintain perform, selected firm inaugurate quality

(Hitt et al. 2016). While creating the quality objective, the firm included the objectives
required for meeting the product requirement. Once the quality objective for the performance
enhancement has been established, the firm communicate to all the personal in order to
inform them regarding the objectives of the program and how to achieve the maximum gain
from them. Being an ongoing process of evaluation, while the management reviews the
employees the firm keep changing and amending change to quality objectives in order to fine

In an business operation there are broadly five categories of stakeholder available who

which the success or the failure of the project depends. With the growth of the time and
availability of data as well as the development of the technologies are transforming the
simple production unit or the labour in the human capital who expertise in production of
different goods and services (Haimes 2015). In this regard it is important to keep in mind that
big brands like Tesco has developed such process of management that allows their employees
to work with higher efficiency that has forced them to understand them as an essential asset
of the firm. When the quality management is in effect it focuses on the fact to enhance the
productivity of the employees in order to enhance the performance of the firm. Thus
operational management possess huge impact on the different categories of stakeholders. An
important feature of the operation management is to influence the working culture and focus
on the training needs. With the better working environment firms can enhance the efficiency

been observed that rescaling the business or supplies of the products in such a way which is
not good for environment or society, then the firm change its course of operation in order to
make the firm well acceptable by the large section of the population in the operational zone
