GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
1. The products that are manufactured in Cambodia has been marked under the tag of Made
in Cambodia. This plays a great role in the market of Cambodia as the business firms
located in Cambodia has been facing loss and have not gained world recognition. To
develop the situation of Cambodia, the business firms needs to focus on the condition of
the product so that the product may seem to be allowing a lot of specifications within a
preferable price range. Adopt the globalization of the market needs to do so that they
companies are able to develop importing and exporting services in and outside the
country (Helper & Krueger, 2018). This will not only help the business firms in
Cambodia to gain recognition of the products but also will motivate the people of
Cambodia to take interest in the products and also get involved in the companies as
laborers, this will eventually help the business firms of Cambodia increase their
production as well as deliver quality of their own. The ideas of the people needs to be
recognized and also the value of the products needs to be analyzed so that the product can
be easily available in the market and so that the people can easily rely on their products.
Made in Cambodia has already set a name in the world for their common label on
clothing from shirts and skirts to cycling shorts. Therefore manufacturing of products that
is associated with these products and relevant to have a high demand on the market such
as any product needed for the daily use that is not only popular and preferred in the
Cambodian market but also has a global reach will help the Made in Cambodia label
successful and well valued.
2. The European Union in 2005 had imposed the anti-dumping measures on Vietnam and
had been making the Vietnamese exports more expensive and costly. It has supported the
low-income countries and has designed the EBA that is the Everything but Arms

arrangement (BBC News, 2020). This has helped the countries to sustain their products
as well as have encouraged the business firms associated in the countries to be more
productive and influence the associating and ancillary firms to be at par with the
production of the original business firms.
Thus, the ideas and the vital factors like the political background organizes the
base of the industries and contribute to the settling of the business firms as well. The
trade status of the products made in Cambodia will be higher, Cambodia will be looking
forward to develop, and work on its market as the giant of the market that is China is
facing problems as the product costs are rising rapidly for the Chinese products (BBC
News, 2020). The political dissonance of the US or the EU it may harm the Cambodian
products as it is highly related to the business that the market holders make business
compared to that of the middle-income countries to start making business countries to
make and work on their own business.
3. The Cambodian firms such as Specialized and Kent are known for contract bicycle and
manufacturers. However, the most of the products the companies has been working for
are for the products, which are made in China, Japan etc. (Lim, 2017). This has highly
affected the companies and the economy of the country therefore the idea to increase the
identity of the business of their own the country will be able to highlight to the people
their own brand and will also motivate the countries as well as the people of the nation to
improve and seek recognition (Lim, 2017).
This will not only motivate the status of Cambodia as a country but also will
make the name of the country get highlighted in the global platform this the factors of the
improvement and the maintenance of the value market will be intact. Thus, the

Cambodian brands will be able to identify certain aspects in the market and will be able
to lead and compete with the market leaders. If a lot of spare parts or the component parts
is availed from other leading market producers like business firms hailing from China,
Japan and others as there will be high tariffs and the product will be too costly for the
people of Cambodia to avail it (Veliu & Surabian, 2016). This will affect the market of
business firms of Cambodia as the citizens of Cambodia are the first customers or
consumers of the business firms there and they will be looking for steady market growth.
Hence, their failure or problems with their products will be very hard to deal.
