The main research topic is talent management and different best practices used by multinational
organisations. Talent Management is a notion with a very wide scope and criteria which focuses
over number of aspects that ultimately contributes towards making a effective workforce and
bringing the best out of people that are working in any respective organization. The main reasons
or rational behind choosing the research project to be about talent management is to gather more
knowledge about the criticalities and consequences businesses have to face while implementing
talent management practices over their global operations and for keeping a balance between the
entire workforce working for the company on the global level. Intercontinental hotels group is a
very reputed and a large organization of the hospitality industry which has been operating

management has different objectives and agendas but the ultimate aim which fulfills the

will be retained with the entity for the longest period possible.

roles in the company like managing employee relations, talent acquisition, payroll
management, onboarding and off-boarding staff and many others. In the present modern

Research philosophy is of two types that are positivism and interpretation. For this
research positivism in research as it is useful for conducting academic studies.
Positivism is a philosophy where the researcher assume that knowledge is
independent of any subject. It is an appropriate research philosophy to be used by the
researcher as with the help of positivism study more scientific and appropriate results
can be developed by the investigator.
Research approach is of two types as well that are inductive and deductive. The
research approaches useful for the study and is chosen for conducting the

Research choice are mono method, mixed method and multi methods. In regards to
the present research mixed method is appropriate and chosen. The reason behind the
same is the study that is being conducted is dependent upon both qualitative and
quantitative research methods and it reflects that mixed research choice is made
where both index analytical information as well as numerical data both are used for
reaching towards evident outcomes.
Data analysis can be conducted in two ways by collecting primary and secondary
research. The present research study Will be conducted both qualitative and
quantitative methods therefore in order to analyse the data primary and secondary
research tools will be used. In order to collect and analyse primary information
questionnaire will be used. On the other hand for analysing secondary information
literature review that is case study analysis will be conducted.
Sampling is a systematic process of dividing a larger population group into small
with the purpose of gathering their point of views and analysing information as per
the requirement. Sampling can be done with two different methods that is probable
and non probable. For the prospective study random probable sampling method is
chosen there a sample size of 30 respondents is determined.
