journals. Major purpose of literature review is to identify the research gap within
previous investigation. In this current research, the main topic is to identify the best

Meaning of global talent management within multinationals
According to the views of Collings, (2021), Talent managements is the full scope of HR

members for retain in long run which helps the company in being sustainable for long
time. This topic is important for investigator to understand because this will helps them
in increasing knowledge about global talent management and strategies which heave
been used by company to retain employees in multinationals company (Kaymak, and
Bektas, 2017). The organisation which is chosen in the research report is Marks and
Spencer. There is a effective process of every company because by this employees
knowledge also increases and by this organisation employees turnover will also
decrease.
Strategies used by company to retain the employees
According to Ansari (2021), Global talent management is the management in which
employees are being trained, develop and motivate ta global level in multinationals
company,. In context of Marks and Spencer company, they are using certain strategies
and talent management approaches which helps them in attracting and retaining
employees for long time. These strategies are innovation, digital literacy, employer
engagement and quality of work and feedbacks. Company is providing proper training
and development opportunities to employees so that they can gain more knowledge and
skills and this will enhance their learning about the business activities and tasks.
Managers of M&S company provide various training programmes to enhance
employees productivity (Talent Management Strategies, 2021). This will helps them in
achieving their organisational goals and objectives. Another is regular performance
managements programmes- managers of the company are taking continuous
performance management programmes of the employees as they are conducted
performance appraisal programmes for employees so that there performance is being
evaluated in the organisation. According to the evaluation of their performance,
employees are being rewarded and recognised. Organisation provide various rewards
and recognisation in relation with employees so that they could feel motivated and they

compensation demands of employees, tightening talent market, lack of leadership.
These are the challenges faced by company in order to apply global talent management
strategies (Talent Management Challenges, 2020). As these challenge are to be keep in
mind in order to retain employees to long run in the organisation. As higher
compensation demands can be the major challenges which is faced by company and
mangers because at the time of providing rewards and recognisation employees can
demands more compensation and this leads to decrease in organisational profits and
revenue. Then another challenges faced by company is lack of leadership as if
employees are not providing good leadership facility then they can leave from
organisation and this becomes a challenge for company. In this research investigators is
making use of primary and secondary research both. This will help them in gaining
more knowledge and information about the topic and results in making an accurate

cover:
There are certain approaches and methods
which are being used in this research to
collect data and information in effective
manner. These are discussed below:
Research Philosophies: This is the
philosophy which is being used by
investigator to condusc6t the researcher as it
consist of two approaches positivism and

investigators is using cross sectional
approach to complete the research on given
time limit.
