INTRODUCTION
Evolution and development of tourism has taken several years to range the current level.
It is the study of various kinds of connection of human with their atmosphere in the specific
stages. To understand this, it is essential to review the past researches and which factors change
the tourism by influencing them. This is a slow change in the development of tourism state from
past to till now and will continue to the rest of the following period. Basically developing the
tourism can be said as the maintenance and growth of this industry in an area which creates plans
and strategies to encourage the tourism for an end(Artal-Tur, 2018). It has become an important
factor because it is the source of creating an income and generations for placements in many
countries and also develops the structure of a country. Hence, let's discuss the evolution and
development, positive and negative impacts of tourism along with their factors.
MAIN BODY
Tourism can be defined as an activity of being away from their belonging surrounding for
the different purposes which can be business or for economical process along with relaxation and
entertainment. On other side, framing the concept of contemporary tourism which means modern
tourism. It presents new formula for considering change in world, address commerce and ethical
code. Modern tourism is categorized into five factors such as : Historical Value : Most of the people love to explore the cultural destinations(Cassar,
Whitfield and Chapman, 2020). They were much attracted with the customs and rituals of
the past society and enjoy the ancient monuments, forts and palaces of earlier crowned
head and queens.
 Social-Economic system : It includes availability which means travelling in different
modes of transport to enjoy the beautiful scenario, secondly the accommodation depends
on of the lifestyles of the tourists, their standard of living and capacity to spend the
money. Along with this how well the person maintain their activities like roping
paragliding and so on. If the finance and insurance services hold on the tourist, which
helps to encourage local economy to extend.

 Environmental element : It is important factor which creates an attraction of tourist
places. Pleasant and beautiful climate makes the travel fresher along with sunrises,
sunsets and waterfalls and many more which attracts the larger amount of tourist.
 Technologies : Technology makes travel easier with mobile, internet and 5G networks.
People can travel easily by map searching and with the fastest network activities(Ganski
and et.al, 2020). Augmented reality is one of the feature which can be included in the
tourism as without getting off the couch people can see the world from the top of the
Everest by using an application.
 Religious Importance : It contributes towards growth at tourism. It can be defined as
religious places to seek inner peace and get blessings which includes tourism at holy
places.
Tourism evolves both positive and negative impacts on the development.
Positive Impacts of Economical tourism Attract tourist : The value of economical tourism count on the people participating in
generating the income(Kapera, 2018.). It acquires accommodation, food, services,
transports etc. It creates a benefit for the guiders as well as for holidaymaker.
 Employment : A good quantity of foreign people helps to maintain the nation craft. It
also generates the opportunity for unemployment people. In this people can get a path to
live their livelihood and can handle the expenditures of them. It is not obvious that it will
give positive way only as it also creates a negative impact on the tourism. For example :
People come from foreign countries makes good amount of money to facilitate repair and
development of the structural system.
Negative Impacts of Economical Effects Standard Assets : This impacts on the local, regional and economical economies. The
structure of tourism can be expensive as the living standard of people rise with goods
and services(León-Gómez, et.al, 2021.). Majorly the goods are imported from foreign
country because the local products does not have good quality compared to foreign
manufacturing. Mostly people stay at the water objectives as cruise or ships which can

help them to get everything which they needed. Staying there it effects on the local
economy sector. Places rely on the tourism can evolve a natural tragedy or terrorism.
 Local income : Along with this, all the transportation expenses like airlines and hotels
effects and cannot give economy to local business. It includes leakage in tourism that
means when tourism currency drops the local economy and rather benefit foreign
countries(Marin, et.al, 2021.). For example : The Keynesian economy picture of fluency
of income leakages are the non-functional including taxes and imports. Leakages are
equal in amount of expenditures from external flow to the balance the output. Hence, the
study of environmental tourism refers to natural surroundings and raise the social state of
local people which can be both positive and negative.
Positive Impacts of Environmental tourism Geographical areas : : As number of people arriving leads to increase of income from
tourist and moreover environmental happening is awaited. By lifting the assets which can
be exercise in protecting the geographical area and beautification of the region.
 Destinations : Keeping the land and surrounding clean attracts more and more people to
travel. Proper counselling makes people more aware about the environment and also
cooperate in maintaining the cleanliness(Narangajavana Kaosiri and et.al, 2019).
Monuments and forts are kept secure and balance the ecological system. Renovating the
old building and public areas looks knockout and it is good for locality and tourists as
well.
Negative Impacts of Environmental Effects Destruction of surroundings : Mostly land is covered with the buildings, houses and the
restaurants for the tourists stay. Agricultural land and forest is destroyed and arranged for
roads. Making roads which leads to soil erosion and creates environment unequal.
Landslides are the major issue of environmental destruction. This becomes the issue for
travellers to reach their destinations.
 Effects on resources : Transportation also pollutes the environment by use of bio-fuels. It
also destructs the flora and fauna. It also effects the water bodies and push the local
populations to finish the use of resources. There is a high possibility of lighting the fire in
a geographical area(Um and Yoon, 2021). This effect demolishes the natural resources
and make the environment full of dirt and uncleanliness.

Positive Impacts of Social-Cultural tourism Understanding the tourism industry: Travelling brings people to connect with each other
and can increase their educational elements and knowledge about various departments
and cultures (Zakharina 2020.). Due to this it increases the understanding between an
individual about their traditions or either knowledgeable factors People who do not have
idea about this industry leads difficulty to understand the value of tourism. For example :
It increases the opportunity to get the job and get employment at various places.
 Standard occupier : As tourist supports the activity of society and services which can
bring the higher standard of livelihood. Following this, can rise the structure, well-being,
transport, public spaces as well improved commodities and nutrient. By practising the
rituals and traditions at special days it built interest in travellers, and they like adopt the
resident's behaviour. It protects the custom and local heritage and boost the management
of natural resources.
Negative Impacts of Social-Cultural tourism Commodification : For comforting the level of tourism expectations it can turn cultures
into commodities when traditional and rituals are reduces and known as reconstructed
ethnicity((Danaeinia and Beigi, 2020)). For example:Ripsaw Dance, which the part of
traditional rituals performed original on the special occasions has been shortened, and its
started to perform on a daily basis t o entertain the tourist.
 Normalization :It is the concept of taking the risk of destinations standardization for
gratifying the tourist desires and their household. It can include foods and drinks with
landscape or accommodation as tourist desire to experience new things completely. They
look for different taste of foods as more preferable is fast food restaurants.
CONCLUSION
In this report it has been concluded that act of generating the revenue with entertaining
and experiencing the surroundings is important part of the world. It can be known as operator of
the profitable growth globally. It increases the standard of living of human-being. Travel runs the
cultural, economical and environmental subjects for sustaining the tourism destinations. In this
above written report it shows the value of travelling and how it can enhance the economy of the
country. It gives knowledge about the positive or negative impacts which can make the country's

at higher and lower level. This shows the differences between the past and modern tourism and
what changes bring the effects which helps in developing the nation. Now a day's technology
plays a vital role in travelling as it raises so many equipments of getting the travel easier than
before via internet. It is the quickest growing industry which is changing the play script of
visiting the world.
