Tourism industry play important role in order to these effectively adapting new market
trends and patterns due to these rapidly growing and successfully established industry. It is
included various facility which provides by tourist such as travel, food, accommodation, staying
facility and safety measures (Alhammad, 2020). When choosing Flamingo land resort for
developing marketing strategy and adapting new trends easily in order to it is one of the famous
amusement parks in UK. The report consists of analysed factors and elements which are
important for destination and these elements are linked and share positive relationship as well as
also focused on tourism destination because there are such factors which affect tourist
behaviours.

Tourism is important factor which includes various factors such as social, cultural,
tradition and economical elements put a greater effort in order to contribution country GDP and
economy. According to United Nations world tourism organisation, 2008, this refers to
movement of people from one county to another country or visit places so it helps to regulate the
environment for professional or personal purposes. Those peoples come from different country
in order to visit new places so which knows as tourists or visitors. They are so many agencies
which globally dealing and plan the vacation or trips for another country so it attracts more
customers and they impact on tourism expenditure (Altman, 2018).
Travel and tourism main objective to targeted for those people who has capable and able
for travelling and target royal and upper class segment which have taken more interested to visit
new places. In the 17th century there is “grand tour” which is in Europe so they encouraged and
motivated to young ones for travelling. In present context, there are so many beautiful historical
monument and pilgrimages situated so they mainly focused to middle age groups people. Before
17 the century hospitality sector used as word tourism in 14th century. Therefore, travel and
tourism is interesting concept for those who more prefer outing and like to visit new places and
it is process which away from homes and then returning home after some time period so the
world tourist day in 1772 for celebrating by travel and tourism industry.

provides various packages such as planned trip, packaged tours, rail travel, bus travel and
commercial flights, and auto travel in 1886 so it putting so much efforts in order to properly
managed and development in travel and tourism sector (Battour, 2018). They are two agencies
which is one of the leading agency across globe in present scenario so they effectively work in
the tourism sector which knows as one of them Cox & Kings which is situated in 1758 it is
ancient time period and another one is Richard Cox both are performed their functions and
operations in very well mannered. There so many attractive club and holiday destination, resort
and places people wants to visit such kind of places so agency planned trip and offered attractive
packages. Most of people like travelling on the basis of whether of particular region, area and
country. These are important period for development of travel and tourism industry which
included more creative and attractive destinations for holidaying.
Hence, the development and growth of industry was continuously growing after World
War1, World War2 and so on. Advancement technology also utilised in these sector so they
great impact on travel and tourism industry. They provide to customer more facility and ease of
services such as online booking services, developed database software which properly record
and managed the data. These kind of facility totally changed the shape of tourism industry and
developing convenient platforms for satisfying for travellers (Buckley, 2017).
P2) Describe different elements of travel and tourism and they are correlated to each other.
There are ample numbers of elements which affect the travel and tourism sector in order
to effectively provide those facilities to travellers which conveniently make trip. These factors
included such as transportation, accommodation, food & beverages, entertainment and many
more. All these factors are interrelated so they perform their function collaboratively in order to
below mention these elements for roles and their relationship with other elements.
Hospitality sector-: Hospitality sector is one of the measure impacts on travel & tourism
industry in order to provide accommodation, food services and entertainment facility provides to
traveller or visitors it includes such as resort, hotels and lodges. Hotel industry they deliver
convenient service to customer like personalised restaurant, bar and game zone etc. There
various travel agency links to hotel management so they provide destinations pick and drop
facility to customer from airport. They are available transportation to visit the new places and
proper staying arrangements properly.

Transportation sector-: This sector also interlinked with travel industry due to provides
various kind of facility like food and beverages sector, railway, air planes. It includes number of
options are available for traveller they easily and convenient travel facility from one place to
another. It provides a number of arrangements for customer such as music, movies and games.
These sector cannot perform all the functions individually their other sectors internally
correlated and then perform function in effective manner (Butcher, 2017).
Food & beverages-: This facility provides hotel industry in order to guest are staying
particular place. There ample numbers of hotel, restaurant and bar staying in near destination
they provide accommodation, food facility and guest stay as well as entertained. These elements
also linked to other factor like transportation along with tour & travel agency are work
collaboratively. Guest stay on specific location which plays major role because they charge on
the basis of location such as good location so accordingly entertains the guest.
Hence, in this way determined different element which is interrelated to other and they
combinable provides best service and experience to guests. Tourist destination successful and
growth only based of the elements they perform effectively. It is difficult to single element to
perform all the activities but they work jointly so provides strength from each other. It directly
impacts on travel & tourism industry which increasing ample number of options is available so it
easily attracts and retains more customers which comes from another country (Butler, 2018).

All these elements work together so perform their functions with help of each other and

peoples are booking online booking accommodation in the hotels but their real scenario is
different so it shows negative impact. It impacts affect the reputation or goodwill of hotels and
affect totally in order to set bad image in mind of customer which affects its profitability and
productivity of company also. If guest facing problem in travelling they are not providing good
transportation so they lead to decreasing the number of tourist and also impact image of
destination.

positive impact and they perform their functions without correlation so decreasing number of

There are so many factors which affect the tour & travel behaviours in order to
categorize in three divisions which are as follows.
Personal factor-: The first factor which known as personal factors is refers to depending
upon the interest of individual because individual interest regarding travelling or visiting
destination so accordingly prepare packages so these is one of major factor which affect the
travel agency. It includes self-image, personality, life-style of an individual, age, profession and
education as well as family background (Chand, 2016).
Social factors-: these is the second factor which said that there are ample numbers of
measures such as family, culture, values, belief, tradition all these things affect the tour and
travel agency. It involves various kind of taste and preference of customer so some are liked that
travelling and all and some are not so industry conduct market research on that basis prefer more
to visiting new destination. It considered as analysed external environment and surrounding
which highly affects these factors.
Situational factors-: These is the third factor which plays vital role in tour & travel
industry so considered as state of mind, social ambience as well as physical ambience of an
individual. Suddenly arise such circumstances and condition which difficult to judge and they
are not dependable on individual and society.
These factors which are also affect underpinning tourist behaviour.
All these three factors majorly influencing consumer decision making process in order to
choosing destination or travelling interest. It includes personal factors so individual greatly
depends on such factors on the basis of is suits travelling and visit to new places. For example,
those individual like adventurous who prefer more sports activity so they visit accordingly sport
destination but those individual have family and they want to travel so they not prefer
advantageous places. It is basically depending on interest factors so they like culture and

needs so individual fulfil all these needs so they easily attain goal and objectives of individual. It
includes various needs which considered as basic need so each and every individual to essential
to fulfil these basic needs which follow as.
Physiological needs-: These include basic needs which refer to food, shelter, clothing
and water. It is must be fulfilled at every destination.
Safety issues-: These is the important needs which must be fulfil for each individual in
order to travel and tourist industry take all the safety measures due to they visit guest for
different destination is safe and secured.
Social belonging needs-: These needs refer to which includes traveller make strong and
healthy relationship with their friends and family members. It involves developing good
relationship and family belongingness with local communities (Dimitriou, 2016).
Self-esteem-: Self-esteem is the fourth component of Maslow's theory which includes
where individual visit those destinations die to increasing social status and develop good image
in the society.
Self-actualisation-: These is the last stage which needs specifically said that individual

shopping facilities, transport, adventurous and many more. It involves primary factor which
known as global destination globally depends on culture and tradition because number of
individual comes from different country to visiting place so their beliefs and culture are different
of an individual’s (Jaelani, 2017). They are majorly impact on the basis of their interest and a

secondary factors which helps and addition to its primary factory because secondary factor also
