Introduction
The primary motive of the paper is to evaluate the issue of global warming which generates the
great amount of impact on people. Contribution from individual people as well as from the local
communities are of great importance as the reduction of car traveling and increasing the use of
renewable sources will help in reducing the impact of this issue.
Main context
Global warming
Global warming is also known as climate change is defined as the increase in the temperature of
the earth. The temperature of the earth increases due to increase in the level of carbon-di-oxide
and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. These gases build a layer of envelope around the
earth, trapping the heat inside the earth. Thus the heat from the earth cannot leave into the space
making the earth warmer (Chen & Tung 2014). The temperature of the earth has increased over
the last century, and the weather of the earth has become unpredictable. The burning of fossil
fuels is considered to be one of the primary reasons for the increase in the temperature. The fossil
fuels are burned for many reasons, like the production of electricity, transportation, deforestation
etc. Glaciers have started to melt thus increasing the level of seawater of the earth (Cook et al.,
2016). The sea-level of the earth has risen to some extent, thus covering many low lands and
islands. Global warming has a serious effect on all the living beings of the earth. Forests around
the world have been disappearing as well as agricultural productivity of many places has
decreased.
Reasons for choosing global Warming issue
The topic of global warming is selected for this report to discuss its causes and effects on the
living beings of the earth. The ability to develop a good research topic is an important skill, as
the effectiveness of the report should reveal the desired issue is taken into consideration
(Crutzen, Mosier, Smith, & Winiwarter, 2016). This topic is selected because it is a topic of
national interest and this issue needs to be resolved by the people in order to enhance the living
conditions for the people throughout different parts of the world. The issue of global warming
refers to the serious climatic change that generates the great amount of impact on people's health
(Wallace et al., 2014). There are few of the crucial possible societal responses towards the

increase of global warming which crucially includes mitigation by the emissions reduction,
development of systems resilient towards its effect and the adaption of its effects (Footitt, Huang,
ÖlcerFootitt, Clay, & FinchSavage, 2018). The selection of the topic is also due to increasing
awareness of public towards this issue. This issue generates crucial impact on various areas such
as on environment and biotic surroundings, on the social systems as well as on regional areas.
Collection of data
The collection of the data is executed on the basis of secondary research conducted. The use of
the various literature and opinions posted by researchers have been undertaken. The use of the
qualitative research method has been utilized in order to gain the deeper understanding of the
selected issue of national interest (Hansen et al., 2016). On the other hand, the opinions and the
group discussions conducted within the group helps in getting deeper insights related to the
critical issue of global warming (Hughes et al., 2017). The emission of the greenhouse gases
has effectively contributed towards the rise of the issue of global warming. Moreover, it has been
evaluated that the global temperature is subjected towards short-term of fluctuations.
Planning decisions
The planning decisions include involvement of the low-carbon communities for contributing
towards the reduction of this issue. Moreover, this may include taking into account of the raft of
work under path around the planning community. As for example, the desired changes towards
the efficiency should be done as per the government regulations and carbon standards. The plan
could be the development of the management plan by supporting the transition to a low-carbon
future within the concerned climatic change (Karl et al., 2015). Moreover, there needs to be the
contribution from the local communities as well as efforts from the government authorities in
order to boost the overall success of the project that is going to be executed.
Rehearsing undertaken
The local communities should asses their respective opportunities for the development and the
use of renewable energy. The group members gathered for the reduction of this issues needs to
start from the initial stages such as there should be greater integration of the waste management
and they should have the provisions from the decentralized strategy (McGlade, & Ekins, 2015).
The use of the renewable energy should be increased in order to reduce the desired impact of the
global warming on society.

Decisions regarding the delivery
It is especially recommended that the local communities should grab the opportunities form heir
concerned area in order to reduce the needs for travel mainly by using car and vehicles and this
will help in reducing the impact of the global warming to some extent. The use of the renewable
energy should be increased to a great extent (Visser et al., 2016). The use of plantation and
forestation should be encouraged among the public as this will help in purifying the air and
reduce the adverse impact of global warming on people (Norris, Myers, & Chellappan, 2017).
There exists crucial requirement of active participation from the government regarding the
development of new vehicles that can reduce the impact of air pollution and should maintain the
healthy atmosphere for the people. The people should reduce the use of the car traveling and
enhance the use by taking public transport as well as walking should be increased. The
development of the suitable strategies should also be adopted by the people in order to reduce the
desired impact of global warming and moreover, they need to develop better strategies regarding
the traveling plan and for the use renewable energy sources (Santamouris, Cartalis, Synnefa, &
Kolokotsa, 2015). Moreover, there will be the offering of appropriate safeguards in order to
address the issue satisfactorily.
Conclusion
The paper critically reflects the investigation of the issue of global warming that is increasing
throughout the world. There are various initiatives by which people can contribute towards the
reduction of the impact of this issue to a larger extent.
