this report ASOS plc is taken which is a British online fashion and cosmetic retailer having the
headquarter in London, UK. The main purpose of this report is to analyse on the positive impact
of economic, cultural and ethical factors on different functions of business such as HR,
accounting and many more (Adzic, 2011). This project contains a description regarding aims and
objectives , project management plan, Gantt chart and work break down structure to analyse the
data effectively to draw a meaningful conclusion.

Background of the report
ASOS plc is a British clothing industry that deals in the online shopping. It is
headquartered in London ,UK. It was founded in the year 2000 with an aim to target youngsters.
The company at present selling more than 850 brands of clothing and accessories all over the
world. The main ground about performing this research is to analysis the economical, cultural
and ethical impact of globalisation on various department such as HR, operational, marketing
and many more (Brady and Davies, 2014). The economical benefit include decreased cost of
production for operation department, cultural benefit include keeping of record of different
countries for accounting department and ethical benefits will be to HR and Financing department
which help in building a good positive image of an organisation. The benefit of globalisation will
not only be seen on ASOS plc but also to the companies all over the world.
Research Aim:
The main aim of this research is “ To investigate the “Positive Economic, Cultural and
Ethical Impacts of Globalisation on Different Functions of multinational organisation.”A study
on ASOS.

concluded that the information presented is
more reliable (Frankenberger and et. al., 2013).
Risk There are several risk which may be faced by
ASOS plc while doing their business functions
at global level. These risk mainly related with
government's rules and regulation, culture
difference, communication barrier etc. There
are also various risk which is faced by
researcher such as development of aims and
objectives, selection of sample size etc.
Communication There are number of communication channel
which will be used by ASOS plc such as
conferencing, group meeting, mails etc. The
researcher may use social media apps,
messages, video calls etc.

Qualitative as well as quantitative are consider most important type of research which is
adopted by investigator to accumulate information in respect of quality and quantity.
Qualitative research: It introduces as an useful method or approach of inquiry that
creates better knowingness on human as well as social science in order to analysis way an
individual feel and think. This research includes various methods such as In-depth interviews,
questionnaire, group discussions etc.
Quantitative research: It refers as an important method of investigation which is applied
by researcher in order to generate hard facts as well as numerical information, by employing
formal, statistical and mathematical techniques (Kowalkowski, Kindström and Brehmer, 2011).
There are different methods included in qualitative research such as surveys, questionnaires and
observations.
Both type of research are essential which will support an organisation to gather
appropriate and and accurate information regarding the effect of glottalization's factors on
business functions of an ASOS. Therefore, 40 employees of ASOS company will be recruited
with the help of probability sampling method. It is essential method as compare to non-
probability. As this method not necessitate maximum time period, expenditure as well as

accumulate data regrading the study. Along with this, Primary and secondary are identify two
types of data collection methods will be applied by researcher (Nicholas and Steyn, 2017). For
gathering primary data, questionnaire instrument will be used for collecting accurate and legal
