2013). This project will be covered on BBC, which is the British public service broadcaster and
located in the city of Westminster, London. It is considered as largest broadcaster by the number
of employees. This project is based on establishing the project aim, objectives and time frames
based scenario. It will also project management plan which includes cost, time, resource,
quality, communication or risk. This project will cover small level of research with support of
the qualitative and quantitative research methods for this business project aims and objectives.
Positive impact of globalisation in context with UK business is as follows:
Economic impact: Globalisation includes business expansion, growth and also bringing
down the sustainability, which has increased the economic strength and opportunities to the
business entities. It has brought power & potential in context with economic status as well as
financial mobility of the company. In context with United Kingdom, globalisation has brought
effective with other nations of Europe, Asia etc.
Culture impact: Globalisation has contributed towards culture development by bringing
creative and innovative product & services with motive to contribution towards society
empowerment. It has brought interest of an individual for development of society and its welfare.
Also, it has put focus on welfare of each and every individual person. It has removed threats of
politics and co-adhesive power in an organisation.
Ethical impact: In context with Ethics, globalisation has brought positive employee
behaviour who are working in different functions of business and its operation (Bjurko, 2010). It
has also brought desired ethics, code of conduct and positive working environment in the
business entity. Ethical issues are solved on major basis with sustainability towards business
practices. Also, it has resulted into sincerity, positive behaviour as well as development of an
entire organisation.

Background of the research:
This background of this research project is completely based on globalisation and its
culture, ethical and economic impact on different business aspects. It has put both positive and
negative impact on different business function of any business organisation. Different business
function such as operation, marketing, finance and accounting are majorly effected by
globalisation at the higher level. Globalisation involves business expansion, growth and ensures
the sustainability through equal contribution of every department and individual. On these
business functions, cultural, ethical and economic impacts of globalisation has deserve its
performance and contribution towards development as well as goal achievement. As this project
will be carried on BBC, which is the British leading broadcaster, which is ranked as organisation
with number of employees.
Operations: Globalisation helps a company to adopt the recent technologies which are
running in the global business. Thus, it is beneficial for the company to accomplish better results
easily.
Marketing: Globalisation provide different promotion channels to the company to
advertise their products and services easily. Globalisation is essential and effective for the
business to market their goods and services at international level.
Human resource: Globalisation has brought development to this business entity by
enabling the manpower growth with continuous training practices. Globalisation such as business
expansion, enabling growth scenario and customer reach has brought business practices of the
BBC into the positive manner. In response to this, the project report will reveals about positive

Cost
Cost is the major component of every research project. This is why
because, it deals with providing funds for conducting the project
activities such as collecting information from people, hiring capable
person, resource arrangements such as technology, material as well as
human resource etc. (Edvardsson, 2015). Project manager needs to
take care that desired budget should be provided with major task to
hire skilled manpower in its team to conduct this project. For this
project, costing budget of £1500 has been approved with additional
funds of £100 which will be utilize in case of shortage of money. This
budget involves cost incur for hiring manpower, data collection and
usage of advance technology for analysis purpose. In addition to this,
BBC needs £1300 million for development of their business, which is
separate part. In order to complete all activities of marketing, company
require approximately £6500 cost.
Scope
This project will identify opportunities associated with long term goals
accomplishment of the BBC. As, this leading broadcasting corporation
is looking for business development scope such as increasing business
units, expanding production and hiring more and more manpower.
This could be the effect of increasing scenario of the globalisation.
Also, this project would suggest regarding the strategies and action

plan for such business development. The outcomes from this project
would be positive. Scope of globalisation is very large which will
assist an organisation to successfully launch their new product or
services at new place. For identifying needs and requirements of
customers related to the new product, research is conducted by the
investigator. Thus, it shows scope of both globalisation and research is
important for the growth of an organisation.
Time
Time is an essential input for every project work. Along with this,
managing the time is critical task, as it relates with human self efforts.
For every project, whether research or assessment, time is an important
variable to complete any given work even before designed duration
(Gebauer, 2016). It is major duty of project manager to calculate time
required for completion of this research project. In context with
research, time period of 2 months will be taken, which will starts with
deciding the topic, collection of the data, complete analysis along with
finding suitable results. These 2 months will be divided into two parts:
first half for selecting the aims and objectives, preparing the question
are along with managing resources for data collection and second half
will cover data collection, analysis along with finding suitable result.
Apart from this, BBC needs 1 year of minimum time for business
development. Hence, for this project, time is valuable and of-course
money.
Quality
Quality is more essential and important part of project management. In
this globalisation is introduce as a project of company and with the
help of this an enterprise launch new product at fashion week. Thus,
quality of product is more significant for the growth of company
internationally. For success of this project, manager needs to ensure
that every task or work of the research will be conduct in an effective
manner along with common result purpose. As, this project will

suggest impact of globalisation as well as strategic development scope
for BBC business sustainability, quality measurement is important to
ascertain the positive results. Project manager will use various
statistical tools such as SPSS, pilot testing etc., to check the validity
and feasibility of the information generated through collection and
analysis done. SPSS is the statistical tool, which is required to
ascertain suitable results out of the data collected from the respondents
and use of techniques in SPSS to arrive at the valid conclusion.
Communication
Communication is necessary for implementation of the project in an
effective manner. It is desirable to build productive relations with
team member of this project team. It would be effective, if there will
not any barrier in the process of one to one interaction. For this
business project, communication will be useful in case of data
collection from the respondents, also contacting with other team
members, co-ordinating them along with getting strategic results for
the BBC. Project manager should built interaction with their top
senior in getting their guidance for carry-out this project for effective
and productive outcomes in the project. For this project, both oral and
written communication will be used to carry out this project. There are
different communication tools used by the company in order to launch
new product at global level. For this they used, social media, mobile
application etc.
Risk
For every business project, it is necessary to ascertain the risk to
control it in early period of time. Here, in this project, there are several
risks which are identified such as shortage of manpower, lack of
effective resources, unskilled workforce, degraded tools or techniques
such as statistical tools etc. Apart from this, failure of this research
project is one of the critical risk, which is identified all complete
analysis of what actual are available with organisation, skills gap and

various old inputs. Project manager is required to do brief analysis of
risk assessment in the early stage and so necessary arrangements of
resources before starting of the project work. BBC has identified that
they have lack of adequate funds for future business development of its
business.

For success of this research project, this would be significant for
project manager to develop or arrange resources such as effective
technology, skilled workers, adequate funds, communication,
strategies as major resource. Project manager needs to confirmed the
sources of inputs generated with the purpose to generate an effective
results and accomplishments. Also, project manager needs to do the
continuous evaluation of their resources to know its suitability and
feasibility for the longer period of time.

and recording their point of view. This data collection method carries

Work Breakdown structure:
Work breakdown structure is a comprehensive structure in which project manager of the
project which helps in dividing complex work in small parts or units, so that a project can be
done in a given period of time. It would helps project manager for execution of the given project
in the effective manner. The mini units or parts are basically given to the team members, so that
they will ends their work with efficiency and productivity. Through this descriptive structure, the
managers can also estimate the cost of project and execute it as per the goals and objectives.
WBS has been divided into four different stages namely: initiation, planning, execution along
with an evaluation stage.

Gantt chart
This complete chart is a major graphical type of a representation of every activities or any
defined work, with a support of the project manager could easily estimate the time, phases or
track the activities for completing the project in the given time period. The work are categorised
in accordance with an individual priorities as per given in the chart. It helps the project person
for getting of the tracking performance level for the team members for conducting this group
project so that, they can provide training to least performer. Along with taking support of Gantt
chart, the team mates should provide their higher contribution on the given task which will
helpful for the firm in getting competitive advantage at marketplace. In this project, Gantt chart
has been divided into elements or events on which funds will be made available to the them.
Along with this, this chart will show the contribution of each and every task for
completion of this project. This will cover the each and every time scale for this project along
with reaching to the valid & suitable conclusion. Lastly, this Gantt chart will provide the
strategic formulation of an entire project work.
Gantt chart includes entire activities of research such as problem identification, selection
of topic, developing aims and objectives, creating literature reviews, developing methodology,

analysing data and concluding findings. Thus all these are important stage which help an
investigator to complete all activities in given time duration.

collection along with tricks & techniques required for collecting most suitable data. It is the
