Background of the research
The term globalisation refers with a trend towards more integrated global economic
system. It is a continuous process in the organisation that consider economic, political, legal,
technological and cultural aspects. Exposure of different culture mainly create impact on the
economy so that it is important to focus on the price of travel level. Advance of technology
assists to attract several customers for tourists so that hospitality organisation do hard work to
keep with advancing technology (Jones, Hillier and Comfort, 2016). It is important for hotels,
tourist attraction and restaurant to continuous improvement in products and services. With the
help of revolution, it can be stated that technological advancements also assists to look and
transform into particular data that utilised by guest.
Rationale of the research
In order to implement globalisation at workplace of hospitality industry, it can be stated
that easier and more affordable ways to travel continuously develop at workplace of the country.
In this way, tourists can choose from wide range of destinations behind developing countries that
have infrastructure or technology that is needed to attract large amount of visitors (Segovia-
Pérez, Figueroa-Domecq and Muñoz-Mazón, 2019). In order to increase level of tourism,
Marriott need to focus on the business development and ascertained to increase tourist friendly
destinations. There are several reasons due to which globalisation also helps to focus on the
business development with using advance technology and creativity. Moreover, it also creates
benefit to boost economy of hospitality industry and ascertained desired level of results.

factors to get success. Furthermore, it is also important to reduce errors and mistakes

In order to consider qualitative and quantitative research methods in the present research,
following elements can be successful implemented: Research philosophy: There are two types of research philosophies such as
interpretivism and positivism. In the present research, interpretivism research philosophy
selected by researcher because it provides humanistic qualitative methods which involve
appropriate interpretation in order to implement globalisation in Marriott. Research design: In order to find valid outcomes, there are different kinds of research
designs implemented that assists to accomplish goals and objectives. Therefore,
descriptive, correlative, experimental, etc. designed has been considered in the present
study to describe behaviour of a subject. In the present study, descriptive research design
used by researcher because it contains observing and describing behaviour of a subject
without influencing it any way (McCusker and Gunaydin, 2015). Research strategy: Furthermore, there are two types of research strategies such as
qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative research design ascertained with relies on verbal
narrative such as spoken and written data. On the other hand, quantitative research uses
logical or statistical observation to draw meaningful conclusion. In the present study,

qualitative research strategy has been followed to develop understanding on human and
social science (Alvesson and Sköldberg, 2017). Research approach: In order to conduct appropriate research, there are two types of
research approaches such as inductive and deductive. Inductive research approach begins
with collecting data that is relevant for topic of interest. On the other hand, deductive
approach takes steps that describe and starts with social theory to find compelling and test
implications with appropriate information. In the present study, deductive approach has
been used which is typically associated to conduct scientific investigation (Riedl, Davis
and Hevner, 2014). Data collection: There are two types of data such as primary and secondary. In the
present study, both types of data useful to consider effective and desired results at
workplace. Primary data collected from questionnaire which design to conduct survey. Data analysis: With the help of thematic data analysis, proper findings can be
successfully build and draw meaningful conclusion as well. In this way, different themes
has been prepared that assists to accomplish aim and objectives in positive consideration.
Different types of themes assists to focus on the desired level of results in creative
aspects (Ivanova, Ivanov and Magnini, 2016).
Sampling: There are two types of methods such as probabilistic and non-probabilistic. In
the present research, non-probabilistic method consider from which simple random
sampling method has been designed to collect relevant information from the research.
There are 20 sample size consider as sampling on which data can be gather with their
views and ideas. It assists to focus on the different activities and tasks that can be helps to
accomplish aim and objectives in positive consideration (McCusker and Gunaydin,
2015).
