relationship between countries. It helps to facilitate communication effectively and efficiently
with their suppliers, partners and consumers to manage the better inventories and distribution
network (Cramer, 2017). The competition among small firms tends to enhance and it also helps
to stimulate new technology development as well.
The present report is based on business activities of E D Transport Ltd. it is small
enterprise which is working as an active carrier operating transportation firm. This assignment
will look upon impact of globalisation and its competitive advantage for small business.
Background
The present report is based on globalisation that guarantees competitive advantages for
small & medium business (Du Plessis, Varottil and Veldman, 2018). The reason behind choosing
this topic is to get the depth knowledge about the impact of globalisation on small firm. It is
terms that involve business which are carried out around the world. This research will help me to
get true insights about the empowerment of technological innovation, employment and
competition towards SMEs. It can also help to scholar to get further research. In this, the
knowledge about the impact of globalisation as how it helps to lower down governments outlays
and taxes and corruptions.
Objectives Aim
The main aim of this research is: “Globalisation guarantees a competitive advantage
and it helps to enhance profits. A case study on E D transport Ltd.
 To understand the concept of globalisation and determine its significance.
 To analyse the positive and negative effect of globalisation on performance of small and
medium enterprises.
 To recommend ways to improvise negative effects of globalisation on the E D Transport
Ltd.

It is a formal, approved document that is used to manage project execution. It is
systematic procedure to set the things in appropriate manner. It is a successful key to competition
of project with minimal risk. Thus, project plan is made up of following things like
 Scope of project- It includes initial process that involves determining and documenting
the list of specific goals, deliverables, features, task and deadline etc. (Evrard, 2017).
With the help of this, researcher can focus over the common objectives. The main object
is to identify the impact of globalisation so that firm can able to perform its business
activities in crucial manner. The process of globalisation also leads to enhance
competitive advantage. With help of it, image of firm can be sustained. It is document
that provides roadmap that is used by managers to assign task, schedule the work and set
the budget properly. The present project scope is based on identifying the impact of
globalisation over E D Transport Ltd.
 Schedule- In this, to do list related to project will be included that what activities are
required to done to complete the project (Marshall, et.al., 2015). It is important to collect
the data so that project can be accomplished within set deadline. Furthermore, things are
required to be prioritized to create the project in step by step manner.
 Time- The deadline needs to be given to each task so that researcher can finish up the
task on time. With help of time frame, it is possible to have a deadline so that each thing
can be done effectively and efficiently. The project is need to get completed within 39
days, under it competitive advantage of firm can be sustained for longer period.
 Resources- It will include with terms as what things are required to accomplish the aim
of research. In this, 20 employees of firm will be asked about the impact of globalisation
on this firm. The entity should have adequate amount of funds so that they are able to run
business functions effectively and efficiently. With help of proper resources, it is possible
to accomplish the project on the set deadlines. In this report, resources as are man, labour
and capital have been used in terms to to determine the specific information so that basic
aim and advantage can able to gain. With help of it, impact of globalisation over the
working of the firm can be determined.

 Quality- It is a process that ensures about the all project management activities that are
essential to design, plan and implement the project. Thus, it refers as to meet the set
standards, continuously improvement in project work and correcting the all defects.
 Risk management- It is an event or condition that could have both negative or positive
impact on the basic needs of the project (Oke, Aigbavboa and Ibitoye, 2017). Thus,
project managers prepare it to foresee risk, estimates its impact and define response to
issues. The researcher should undertake it as identifying, prioritizing and managing risk.
In this, one risk has been identified and that higher the speed of globalisation will have
bad impact on economic growth of the country.

and et.al., 2016). This is needed to conduct effectively so that there can be possibility to
pass the information between team members. Lastly, it can be said that the success of

The present research is based on identifying the impact of globalisation on E d Transport
Ltd. In this report, I have selected qualitative tool so that I can able to get the depth information
about the effect of globalisation on functioning of the enterprise. I have taken primary data
collection method for undertaking questionnaire survey so that depth analysis can be conducted.
In this, I have selected sample random technique as it helps to provides equal chance to each
individual so that result can be concluded effective and efficiently. With help of conducting
research in terms of globalisation the researcher is able to get the depth information.
Reflection on project outcomes
The report I have conducted has helped me to get the depth insights about topic of
research with help of it I am able to identify the impact of globalisation on small business. I also
came across to various negative impacts of globalisation on bushiness and lastly I have
recommended to deal with positive and negative impacts of globalisation on small medium
enterprise. In this process, I have faced various issues at the time of collecting information from
the respondents with help of undertaking questionnaire. There was problem in terms to
inadequate amount of funds and that leads to have negative impact over the process of firm. Due
to this, there was issue in terms to have resources as man, labour, capital and this all have
