some of economist which may be impact on small economies. Globalisation can
be thought of outcome as opening of global economy and increase trade between
nations.
Advantages of globalisation in regards with Waitrose company
On the basis of opinion of Tejvan Pettinger (2017) Globalisation affected each
aspect of modern life. With the help of using globalisation, company can do the
free movement of services and products which are created by staff members
around world in an effective way. Some of the benefits related to globalisation of
Waitrose given below:
Technological innovation- Under this, increased competition through using
globalisation helps in stimulate the development of new technology mainly with
the development in FDI. It will be helpful in make improvement in the economic
output by making procedure more effective.
Economies of Scale- Globalisation is helpful in enable large size
organisations in order to realise economies of scale for reduce costs which
supports in economic development.

facing. This company have operations as well as staff across boarders is having
centralised communication system which makes possible to compare notes across
physically distanced branches and the departments.
Environmental conservations- United Kingdom taken more interest in
conserving an environment and reserving affects of global warming. Different
countries have the different rules related with environment related to green
packaging, energy consumption etc. IT firm will not follow this then it will face
some issues.

proper manner, it is mainly used to collect and analyse data or information by
using valid and reliable sources. Different types of research methods given below:
Qualitative- In this method, data is collected on the basis of theoretical
analysis. It helps in provide the brief description about specific area.
Quantitative- Under this, data is based on the statists and researcher use
statistical tools for analyse collected data.
Both methods are helpful in conducting investigation but researcher used
qualitative investigation because it provides the detailed information and help
researcher to examining valid conclusion.
Data collection : It is a method by which information can be gathered from
various sources. It includes primary as well as secondary methods by which data
and information concerned with specific area can be gathered. Questionnaire has
been developed by using primary data collection method.
Primary data collection method- It consist use of first hand information by
using different sources such as questionnaire, interviews, survey, observation etc.
Secondary data collection- It involve use of the published sources for
collect information. Different sources to collect data from secondary methods are
books, journals, articles etc. It is mainly used in conducting literature review part
by consisting opinions of different writers.
Sampling : It is a method by which information is collected by taking samples
from large population. It includes probabilistic and non probabilistic sampling
methods. In this, random data sampling method has been used under probabilistic
method. This method is not biased to selected respondents. There are 20
respondents are chosen and these are staff members of Waitrose to collect
information.
