Project Management Plan
Project management plan is the whole process or activity which creates the project team
and the key stakeholders. A project management plan is formal, approved document which
consists all such activities like project cost, project ending or starting date, risk, quality etc. This
is the project managers spend a substantial amount of time ensuring baseline are achieved.
Present project plan has based on the globalisation and its factors affecting company operational
functions (Reilly and Williams, 2016). Here it explains some elements and components which
define the project outlines into more clear manner.

P3 Produce work break down structure and a Gantt Chart
Work break down Structure : work breakdown structure is the process which breaks
the project activities into smaller part to enhance the work efficiency through individual can also
more focused on the task. This is the research tool or technique which is most efficiency and
long-lasting as per the required task and goals. Work break down structure is the deliverable
oriented process which aim is to get the best results and outcomes for the study. In other words,
WBS is the activity which breaks the activity into small task to better understanding or to
improve the overall productivity and long lasting results. Basically, work break down structure is

the best approach to maximize the work outputs and generate the profit maximization approach
for the successful research outcomes and goals.
LO 2
P4 Small Scale research by applying qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Introduction
Research methodologies are identified a significant part of research because this
methodologies and its elements help researcher in achieving its pre determined goals. The main
objective and aim of researcher of this research is to identify and analyse the positive economic,
cultural and ethical impacts of globalisation on the operation functions. Researcher also want to
make the accurate decisions after collecting all the informations and data and this methodologies
makes it able to collect authentic data (Kumar, 2019). It includes research approaches, designs,
types, data analysis, sampling & ethical consideration. There are various types of research and
researcher decide that what type of methodologies will be appropriate for its research.
Research type
Research can be defined as the creation of new knowledge and a careful consideration of
the study regarding a specific problem by using scientific methods. There are mainly two types
of research which every type of researcher use for their research. Types of research are
8

qualitative and quantitate. Qualitative research is a procedure that rely on the numeric figures
and quantities. This type of research helps researcher in depth understanding about a particular
topic and its issues. It includes one to one interview, Group interviews and focus group, text
analysis etc. On the other hand quantitative research type is heavily based on feelings, words and
emotions (Taylor, Bogdan and DeVault, 2015). It involves a large population and a part of a
population and researcher ask closed ended questions from their candidates. This present
research's type is qualitative research because in this type, researcher has taken opinion and
views of their participants as 20 employees.
Research approach
Research approach can be defined as a a procedure & a plan that are being divided in
mainly 3 types such as inductive, deductive and abductive research approach. It is essential for
researcher to choose and select the best research approach for making their research successful
and to gather relevant data more effectively. Deductive type of approach is aimed and testing
theory. It is also important and beneficial as researcher starts the process by considering pas t as
well as present theories that are related and concerned with the topic of the research. Whereas,
inductive research approach that starts with the observation in which researcher begins to gather
data and informations that is relevant and authentic to his/her particular topic (Bresler and Stake,
2017). For this present research, researcher has selected inductive approach of research because
this study is based on qualitative research. With the help of choosing this approach and the type
of research, researcher can make himself able to effectively determine & identify the positive
economic, cultural and ethical impacts of globalisation on the operation functions.
Research design
Research design refers a framework and model that are being selected by researcher.
There are various elements included in this study and research so it is important to combine all
the elements in a reasoning manner and for that research design help them. It has 4 research
designs such as semi-experimental, experimental, correlational and descriptive. Descriptive
research design is the best design in qualitative type of research as it does not influence
participants in any manner. So researcher has also selected this descriptive design in order to
determine the positive ethical, economic and cultural impacts of globalization on the operational
functions in an accurate manner (Alvesson and Sköldberg, 2017).
