INTRODUCTION
Globalization is the type of the expansion in which the company start operating in the
international market. Nestle is a Swiss multinational food and drink processing company
headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland. Nestle founded in year 1866 by the founder Henri Nestle.
This report highlights the research report of on the topic Globalization, starting with the AIM and
objective of the report. Further this report highlights the Research methodology and its different
tool on the topic. In the end the report highlights the recommendation for the Nestle company on
the basis of the outcome of the report.
LITERATURE REVIEW
According to Adams and et.al., (2017) Globalisation is the term which connect distinct
type of products, services, technologies or information to the people. In terms of economic
development globalisation has been provides job opportunity, modernization, improved
standards of living, easy access to product or services etc. The concept of globalisation is base on
idealistic that wants to develop a global free market. In order to critique as per Ahmad and et.al.,
(2019) Globalisation is the concept which is related to social, political or a legal phenomenon. It
reflects outcomes with different diverse inputs. In other words, Globalisation has been given
great impact on business development as they provides businesses great opportunity to be the
global leader and generate the more income opportunity. Legally globalization has altered how
international law is created and enforced.
As according to Al Ariss and Sidani, (2016) Recruitment & Selection is foremost
challenge for the multinational companies. Different cultures, values and beliefs are the reason
those impact on the international environment. In other terms, Recruitment is the process of
identifying the organisation needs to employ someone for the right place. Besides, selection is
the negative process than Recruitment which choosing one candidates from any who are the most
suitable for the job. However, present research base on to identifying the impact of globalisation
on HR function. In order to examine the challenges involves in globalisation in terms of

to analyse and select people from different country or region Cooke and et.al., (2019).

PROJECT MANAGEMENT PLAN
Scope: Scope is the extent by which the topic is relevant. Scope of the research is to
achieve the Aim and objective. This research will see the role of the multinational company in
the process of the acquiring the employee which will help the Nestle in knowing the importance
of the multinational company in the country. This report will also help the Nestle in
understanding the role and the importance of the globalization toward the employee development

in the organization. This content will also help the Nestle in understanding the HR function of
the multinational company very easily in the global market. Nestle will be also benefited in
knowing the factor which is influencing the HR function of the company in the global market
(Kerzner, 2017.)
Cost: Cost relates to the expenditure incurred in carrying out research. This research
project will cost around 450 pounds for the Nestle.
Communication: Communication is the mode through which message are passed in the
organization. For carrying out the research project, oral and the written communication are two
primary type of the communication which has been used by the company. Oral communication
was used in the group at the time of the discussion with the colleague helping in carrying out the
research for the company. Written communication was generally used at the time of the co-
ordinating with the other department or specifically with the research department by the way of
the Email and also with the help of the Skype. Visual communication was the another mode of
the communication which is used in the research at the time of transferring the message with the
help of the different images, which generally contains the graph, data sheet or the report of any
company (Meredith, Mantel Jr and Shafer, 2017).
Time: Is the duration in which the research will be completed. This research will require
the minimum of the 4 weeks to achieve the Aim and the objective of the Nestle.
Quality: Quality relates to the standard of something as measured against other things.
This research project will be of the best quality as the information sourced for the purpose of
carrying out the research is gathered from the best and reliable source as the information is the
only basic on the basis of which the project is carry out. This report has set the before hand
Quality standard of achieving the objective of the research and after finding out the outcome the
result of the research project will be measured against the set quality standard.
Risk: Risk relates to the unfavourable thing which can be occurred in the research. There
are some sort of the risk which are associated with the research project such as the irrelevant data
and the wrong interpretation of the data of the information which is sourced for the purpose of
conducting the research for the Nestle. Another risk which is associated with the project is the

resources are the other main resources which are required in the research for the purpose of the

Research Approaches: Research approach is the process or the step based plan which is
based on the detailed assumption method which looks at the data collection, analysis and

interpretation of the research. Their are two type of the Research approach in general i.e.
Deductive research approach which looks at existing theory for the purpose of developing the
hypothesis, and on the basis of that hypothesis are tested (Creswell. and Poth, 2017). Generally
the path is follow is the Theory – Hypothesis – Observation – Confirmation. The second
approach is the Inductive approach which starts with the observation and the theories are
proposed at the last stage of the research for the purpose of the result of the observation.
Generally the path which is followed in this approach is the Observation – Pattern – Theory. In
this the Inductive approach has been used to carry out the outcome for the report as the Inductive
report is more realistic as compare to the deductive approach.
Research Philosophy: Research philosophy are the belief or ways through which data
can be collected. Their are generally two type of the philosophy which is used in common by the
researches i.e. Positivism is the philosophy which generally looks at the society, which generally
relies on the scientific evidence to reveal the nature of the how society operates in real.
Interpretivism philosophy is the second philosophy which is just opposite of the Positivism
philosophy as this philosophy looks at the human interest into the study. This report has used the
