research topic, research aims, objectives and results, and to show the results of such investigation
in both written and verbal formats. The investigation also promote students to reflect on their
engagement in the process of research, during which suggestions for future and individual
development are key learning points. Along with this in personal manner, this research will help
an investigator by increasing its knowledge about literature review, data collection and data
analysis.
B) P2. Project management plan with cost aspects, scope, time, quality and communication risk
Project management plan is important to formulate as this will help to outline the aspects
of important nature which are required to carry on in future for successful completion of project

Research methodology is a systematic way of collecting information or data related to a
specific topic. These informations are collected for the intent of decision making. It is the most
essential process design to conduct a research. The researchers describe how the vital
information and data to address the research questions and objectives was gathered, shown and
analysed. In this the main cause and explanation for the data sources, research design, collection
techniques, research instrument, data presentation techniques, research strategy, research
reliability and validity used are given (Osland, Devine and Turner, 2015). For this, the
investigator use the best approach for the research and considers the research opinion. This frame
work has different layers which are mentioned below:
Research philosophy : It involves the thought process of the researcher about how to
gather the data. There are two type of researchers philosophy Interpretivism and positivism.
Researcher in this topic will apply interpretivism as this will highly assist in evaluating data or
information effectively whereas positivism is not the appropriate method to carry out research.

developing hypothesis based on existing data and help researcher to collect appropriate data in
details so that the better results can be obtained.
Sources of data : There are various sources for the collection of data such as primary and
secondary data, the researcher uses these sources in order to come up with objective finding.
Primary sources of data are the first source of data (Ramasastry, 2015). These data can be
collected with the questionnaire and interviews. On the other hand secondary data are gathered
with the motive of other use rather than original use. Secondary source of data can be collected
from published and unpublished documents, internal journal of business etc. Therefore both the
sources of data collection are used by researcher to compile proper information about the study.
Data collection techniques: In order to accumulate reliable data according to the study,
questionnaire will be used by researcher. As it is most essential technique of data collection
which will support an investigator perform each tasks within given time period.
Research sampling: Sampling is most essential part of dissertation which will assist an
investigator to select sample size from out of total population. There are two form of sampling
which is probability and non-probability. According to current study, probability sampling will
be applied by investigator (Thomas and Peterson, 2017). This method not require maximum
capital and resources of an organisation. Therefore with the help of this sampling method, 15
employees, 30 customers and 2 managers of Primark will be recruited. On the other side, non-
probability sampling method is not useful according to current topic.
