Concept of globalisation
Globalisation is usually referred to a process in which interaction and integration
among a number of different people, company, government and country stake worldwide. It
has been noticed that since 18th century advances have been brought in transportation and
communication technology (Milner, 2019). These advancements have led to globalisation and
increase in global interaction which has also caused growth in exchange of ideas, culture and
trade internationally. Globalisation can also be considered as an economic process of
interaction and integration which is associated with different social and cultural aspects.
However there are a number of conflicts and diplomacy which are a part of history of
globalisation and also of modern globalisation. In economical term globalisation involves
services, goods, technology, data and different economic sources of capital. The expansion in
the global market is liberalising economic activities and exchange of goods as well as funds
between countries.
Benefits of globalisation
Globalization is effectively helping a number of different economies by bringing in
modernisation and infrastructural development for the countries. Globalisation make it easier
for assessing different foreign cultures and free flow of goods and arts along with information
of different cultures throughout the world. Globalisations have led to spread of technology
and innovations in a number of different countries (Perraton, 2019). Underdeveloped
countries are highly benefited by globalisation as technological advancement is also brought
into those countries. Globalisations have also led to increase the standards of living in people
throughout the globe. People can now access to new market and new talent as they can move
for business beyond their nations boundaries. Companies are now looking for places where
they can get the resources at cheap along with labour cost. Due to this they can easily produce
goods and services which are of lower cost. This has made it easy for people at every income
level to have an access to these goods and services.

Drawbacks of globalisation
Along with all these benefits there are also a number of different drawbacks of
globalisation. The developing countries have to struggle to compete with the countries that
are already developed due to this they cannot get trade benefits in international market. It is
also seen that a number of countries face labour drain as the skilled workers are attracted to
higher wages elsewhere. The culture diversity is also decreased due to globalisation (Michie,
2019). One more drawback of globalisation is that it has increase the use of various
nonrenewable resources in the environment. These have increased pollution as well as global
warming in the environment and the organisations are now failing to meet the satisfactory
requirements for environmental standards

Methodology
Research approach
The research started from creating a project management plan. Project management
plan consist of a number of different discussions of factors which are necessary to conduct a
research. This involves the cost which will be required for the research along with the scope
of research. The time which will be required to complete the research along with various
communication methods which will be used to communicate with the research team is also
included. Along with this it consist of all the risk and resources which are attached to the
following research.
Research method
There are basically two types of research methodology such as qualitative and
quantitative research methods. For the following research qualitative research methodology
have been used. It is a methodology in which non-numeric data is used to conduct the
research. This is a method in which the quality of data or the topic of data is analysed very

critically. The result which can be analysed and obtained with the help of this method is
usually in descriptive form and is an interpretation made with the help of data available. The
major aim of researcher in this type of research is to make a recommendation in order to meet
all the objectives of research and help others from the collected and analyse data.
Possible problems or limitations
There are a number of issues which were faced by researcher during conducting the
research. Time constraint is one of the major issue due to which it becomes difficult for
researchers to look for more and more secondary data as it is a time taking process. All the
data used in the following research is from secondary sources due to the pandemic of
COVID-19 no primary data have been collected for the following research. These were some
of the limitations faced during this research.
Anticipated outcomes
The following report have critically helps to analyse that globalisation has brought a
number of benefits for economics today. Globalisation have successfully held a number of
business to earn profits and also provide growth to an economy through providing
employment and infrastructure development (Hopkins, 2017). However there are some
negative effects of globalisation on some of the economy which are huge competition in
international market. Also globalisation has not successfully delivered the desired gains for
human rights and environmental protection as well. The local businesses are struggling due to
globalisation as they now have to compete with international business and multinationals in
their geographical areas.
Ethical consideration
There are a number of issues considered under ethics in a report research. While
conducting the research it is necessary for the researcher to make sure that they are
accountable for their actions. They are also to support the values for collaborative work and
mutual respect along with fairness. Some of the major ethical codes while conducting the
following research for honesty and integrity, objectivity, carefulness, confidentiality and
legality.
