Pathway Project 1 Reflection: Globalisation and Sustainability Impact

This report provides a reflection on a business project centered on globalisation and sustainability, using the Marriott Hotel as a case study. The project aimed to understand the impact of globalisation and sustainable practices on business development and customer attraction. The student discusses their learning experiences, highlighting the importance of a sustainable environment and globalisation in introducing new services and understanding market dynamics. The analysis covers various aspects, including the hospitality sector's growth, the importance of teamwork, time management, and the development of interpersonal skills. The student also reflects on their role in the project, data collection methods, and the enhancement of research and communication skills. Furthermore, the report addresses the student's personal growth, identified weaknesses, and strategies for improvement, emphasizing the benefits of self-assessment and delegation skills for future career goals. The project helped the student to enhance their analytical and communication skills, and to overcome weaknesses, leading to a better understanding of globalisation and its effects on the development process.

Project 1

Globalisation and sustainability environment is the most essential aspects of the company
and for their development. It makes new essential target market goals to gain the customer
attraction. Present reflection will be going to explain own experience from the project outcomes
and what skill helps to full fill the objectives.
Under the study of sustainable environment and globalisation it helps to bring new
services and potential for understanding the market in more productive manner (Gil Salmeron,
2016). Sustainable environment is very much necessary to keep the environment positive and
healthy. My project was based on Marriott Hotel which is the most luxurious and powerful hotel
in hospitality industry. From the study or research, I got to learn different aspects of business
environment which influence positive activities towards the business environment. Overall
experience helps me to gain the knowledge about globalization, such as globalisation helps to
introduce new services and development opportunities for the organisations. From the study, I
got to know that hospitality sector is the fast growing sector as compare to others. This creates
opportunity to develop country economic growth. From the overall analysation it has been
proves that to full fill the customer services or customer experience Globalisation and
sustainability environment is the most essential aspects of the company and for their
development. It makes new essential target market goals to gain the customer attraction. From
the present study also got to learn essential business elements which helps company to meet the
customer needs which helps me for my further study projects (Constantinescu and Galbeaza,
2014). It also helps to analyse different working targets and roles without which Marriott cannot
achieve their target market goals. To accomplish the overall research project all members are
well aware about their roles and responsibilities. All the members are connected with the help of
Skype, e-mails, mobile phones, and other source of communication. Overall, team work is the
reason to accomplish the project task. With the help of work delegation, it also got to learn work
break down structure through which target will achieve in more productive manner. Overall
study helps me to learn about new knowledge and evaluation of market conditions. Overall, it
also makes some productive task to full fill the basic needs to accomplish the better objectives.
Overall, project has complete with their set goals, each team members contribute their
best part to enhance or to utilise all resources to get best results. I also got to learn time

management with the help of my work. Time management skill is the necessary skills which
enhances the individual capabilities and more productive work to get the objectives. Along with
that, it will more enhancing the process of working overall study, helps me to learn new more
opportunity and growth for the further development process. Further apart, overall study
discussed about environment sustainability and globalisation (Lanfranchi, M. and Giannetto, C.,
2014). This study enable to provide different new methods and terminologies in the context of
globalisation effects on the business activities. Through I got to learn new business growth and
objectives. From the basis of analysation I also got to know about the new skills and knowledge
about development process. Business organisation required to adopt the best environment tools
and techniques which helps company to full fill their needs and wants. Another process of
productive work. I also discussed some strategies and techniques which helps Marriott to stable
their position in global market. Moreover, I also got to enhance my different skills such as
interpersonal skills which is very necessary for the organisation. Overall process or working
helps me to adopt new further study to improve my productivity level. Moreover, interpersonal
skills such as good technical, analytical skills, communication skills etc. during the study I had
interaction with my team members through I learn new knowledge and methods to perform a
particular task. It helps me to enhance my way of working and process to get the better results. It
also helps me to better communicate with my team members. This communication skills will
improve my relationship and my career growth. Moreover, I enjoyed this research study through
I got so many new things and sector where I get my own way for my future. Team leader of this
team has guided to all team members and delegate duty according to skills. My role in this
project is to determine the and to collect the data of Marriott and strategies to sustain business
environment. Through I analysed so many aspects and collect data from primary and secondary
sources. This process helped me to learn about the methods or tools to collect data. I collected
secondary data from journals, articles, internet, books, magazines etc. through this process of
collection of data I got to learn new methods of searching and enhance my research skills.
Overall, study reflect growth of the business towards globalisation. In the context of current
scenario globalisation is the major element for companies. It helps me to gain or understand the
deep knowledge of globalisation and its effects on the development process. This helps me to get
the best sources and development skills. This process also helps me to adopt new development
skills which is benefited for me to take new target and goals. It is very much required to

accomplish the overall objectives and target. In order to make good research during the process
all team members are take equal initiatives to introduce new methods or idea to make research
more productive. This overall things and way to work together helps to learn team building and
its importance. Overall, study was very much experienced and productive for me to make my
career goals more strongly. Through this research I analyse that It helps me to get overcome
from my weakness to get more technical skills. With the help of collecting statistical data of
Marriott I also got to enhance my overall skills and wants. This makes good things and
productive environment of learning. Overall, study was the great experience for me to improve
my analytical or communication skills.
Delegation is the activity or function to break the work and productive advantage task. It
makes overall work and impressive manner of work to get the best possible outcomes. Through I
got to learn managerial skills and attributes to enhance my skills in more efficient manner.
Moreover, another essential thing which I got to learn that is my leadership skills. During the
process many of the times I suggested the work and things which enhance power of work which
makes some productive work and target market. Overall it makes productive action plan in order
to take the best productive results. Delegation skills are going to be a grateful and productive for
me to enhance my career objectives. Delegation activity is the task making job through company
can help me to gain more strategical goal and objectives. Along with that, it will more impactful
and strategic development process. In overall project report I analysed some technical issues
which reduce my capabilities. Technical issues might be reduce speed and efficient will also get
reduced. This activity affect my skills and my way of performance in the research study.
Moreover, to overcome from my weaknesses I need to make development plan to fix the gap and
get better results (Savvidis and Ginoglou, 2015). In order to overcome from my weaknesses I
need to make my self assessment to measure my own strength and weaknesses and according to
which I need to learn some more productive skills and wants to make principles to enhance my
skills and wants. With the help of development plans I also need to make proper action plan and
set target according to the perfect manner. For making personal results and proper effective
implementation I will get over from my weaknesses. Moreover, it is the productive process to
make productive work and target groups. Self assessment task is the more productive and
effective task to make new opportunity in the future. Moreover, I also got to enhance my
presentation skills through giving most productive work. It will be more grateful and impressive

in work environment. Overall learning and group work helps me to make more productive
enhancement work target. It also provides better performance in my behaviour which is very
benefited for my future goals. It is the best process to learn more things and better opportunity
target. It is the overall target market groups which makes some more productive task. On the
basis of my personal skills I contribute my best part in the project which enhance my great
working target market goals (Valzano, 2014). Overall project provides me better performance.
On the basis of my further development process I also need to adopt some new skills and
theories through I get to learn some new learnings. Overall it helps to get the best productive
level of work.
On the basis of above section, it has been cleared that overall learning of mine was
productive and full of grate experience which grows my furthermore skill level.
