INTRODUCTION
Globalisation refers to lead to enhancing the competition and also financial or economic
shift from the developing to emerging economies. Its main focus is to promote awareness of
culture, global economic interdependency and internal co- operation (Antoniades, 2013). It is
related to interconnectedness of the business and people in all over the world. It is an ability to
communicate and also move in an easy manner with others to conduct business at global level.
This present report is based on Tesco company. It is multinational general merchandise and
grocery retailer in United Kingdom. It conduit its business at global level and it has stores around
seven different countries across Europe and Asia. Under this mention report will be discuss
about Gantt chart and Work break down structure to show the key milestones and time frames.
There will be discussion about project management plan in detailed manner.

Globalisation is free movement of services, goods and people in all over world in an
integrated manner. It leads to enhanced competition and it can be related with target market,
price, adoption of response, quick production through firms, cost etc. When firm produces less
cost with better quality then it helps in enhance market share (Auer, Borio and Filardo, 2017). It
is process if an international integration that arising from interchange of world products, ideas
and some of the other cultural aspects. Globalisation is helpful in improving the living standards
of people in other countries because it provides employment opportunities to them.
Background of Research
Globalisation is necessary process and helpful in economic development of country
through Foreign Investment triggering saving with in country that can used in other investment.
Under this, globalisation can change competitive market by reducing cost of products, enhance
international productivity etc. Tesco is an international organisation and it conduct its business
operations at global level. This company is globalised due to its enhanced market share, high
quality of products or services etc. In the process of globalisation, human resource function plays
a necessary role. It adopt the different HR practices for an instance technological developments,
differences in culture and foreign regulations. Tesco company require to be include wide range
of adjustments to able to recruit, train and also sustain throughout many countries. The main

purpose of human resource function is to enhance productivity of business and sustain at long
period of time in competitive market. Under this, human resource manager recruit the high
knowledgable candidates which have proper knowledge about the international culture. On the
other hand, most important function of human resource is to provide training to staff members
for enhancing their skills and knowledge so that they can deal with international clients and
understand their needs as well as preferences in a better or effective manner (Bailey and et. al.,
2018). This function aware the employees about the different culture along with various business
practices. Managers provide training to employees about communicate missions and goals, make
coordinate activities, integrate the diverse value systems and many others. In addition to this,
conducting business at international level make the communication strong among different
countries.

helpful in describe each phrase of project. It is necessary because it assures that there is a plan
for implementing the strategic objectives in an effective manner. It is a responsibility of project
manager to develop plan in a systematic manner by considering all necessary aspects which are

Scope- As Tesco is a large size organisation and it conduct its business operations at
global level. The scope of this project is wider because of its high market share, provide goods at
reasonable cost and many others.
Time- Under this, time is one of the main factor. It is necessary that activities which are
included in project management plan should be competed with in set period of time. In the plan,
each activities are divided on the basis of time period (Budhwar and Debrah, 2013). The time
duration for completing the project will be 3 to 4 months. On the other hand, if company will
globalise its business or expand it in other country then it will take 5 to 6 months.
Cost- It is necessary factor and without cost Tesco company can not perform its business
operations as well as not implement its plan at workplace. Before developing plan, it is necessary
to arrange the effective and adequate cost that helps in performing activities related to project
management plan. The cost that will be involved in project management plan about £ 5000. On
the other hand, if Tesco company will conduct its business operations at global level then it need
to arrange funds about £ 7000.
Quality- Maintaining quality of product is essential for organisation to maintain their
value in market. It is essential that quality of project should be better so that it can give the
positive outcomes to company. On the other hand, when Tesco company is going to make its
business globalise then it should be focus on provide high quality of services as well as products
so that more and more consumers can be attracted towards it.
Communication- At workplace, it is necessary that there should be proper
communication among all employees. Stakeholders are the main part of company so they should
be aware about the project and also globalisation idea (Mhamed, 2012). On the other hand,
strong communication at workplace is helpful in performing all tasks or activities and focus on
attaining specific objectives with in given period of time.
Risk- In any work or project, risk is involved. It is necessary for manager to manage the
risk that can be involved at the time of developing and implementing plan. During conduct
business at global level, risk can be related with technological, financial etc.
Resources- It plays an important role in carried out specific activities or tasks. Resources
are necessary for carried out task related to project. Under this, resources can be equipments,
funding, facilities, employees and anyone which are needed to complete activities of project.

in to the manageable sections. It gives an essential framework for control and detailed cost
estimation with giving guidance for the schedule development as well as control. It helps project
manager to manage their work in an effective way. Some of the important element that are
considered are time frame, cost and time limit activities, functioning completeness, assigning
responsibilities etc. so that project can be completed in an efficient manner.
Main aim of Work Breakdown Structure is to reduce complication from tasks by
breaking down complexity into measurable account, it also helps in including all activities of
project in one task the will aid in proper monitoring of several activities (Mowforth and Munt,

taken from large size population. In this, investigator select a sample size from whole population.
