reach at large no. of consumer base.
MAIN BODY
Project aims and objectives for a chosen scenario.
Research aim and objective are very much important for an organisation for aim of
the work includes overall purpose behind conducting the study that should be clearly and
concisely defined by the researcher (Aharoni, 2014.). It helps to go with the main objective

Globalisation lowers down the cost of consumer service:

As per the view of Novita (WHY GLOBALIZATION IMPORTANT, 2019), Globalisation is
the chain of activities by integrating and exchanging views and ideas with products and services.
By integrating self interest of an organisation it is very much important to build products and
services as per the market needs and demands. Globalisation helps in expand business at
global level as it provide consumer cost relatively at lower cost in comparison to domestic
marketplace. Globalisation make it possible to reach at large no. of consumer by handled
inquiries of consumers and hired them at relatively less price or cost. In context of Vodafone
they serves in different regions so by taking advantage of global opportunities organisation
can remain competitive in market place.
How globalisation impacts on functional and operational activities of Vodafone?
As per the view of Mike Myatt (THE IMPACT OF GLOBALIZATION ON
BUSINESS, 2019), Conducting business as global scale in not a luxurious part of business
now a days and to expand business needs the ability to build products and services as per
the need of consumer base in proper way. While going global and build products and

direct bases to get right kind of outputs at right time frame. In business environment
globalisation impacts a lot to gain competitive advantages organisation have to measure na
evaluate each and every attribute in better way. Organisation have to take permission from
government of foreign by following their instructions organisation can be able to deal in
effective manner. In context of Vodafone before going global they have to evaluate various
factors in which state of economy, demography in which organisation wants to spend their
market. with commercial demand and supply side of their business with requirement of
improvement in infrastructure and marketing systems with practices are important to deal in
effective manner. All these factors brings changes in internal functional and operational
activities of an organisation to deal in proper way.

What are the various strategies to eliminate negative impact of globalisation in terms of
economic, culture and ethical way.
As per the view of Andrew Blackman, (What Is Unconscious Bias? +Top Strategies
to Help Avoid It, 2019) for an organisation it is very much important to develop quick
decisions ability and judgements that are very much crucial for an them. While going global
organisation have to face some kinds of problems or concerns and for that they have to build
some kinds of strategies and tactics. For an organisation it is very much obligatory to reduce
effects of globalisation in their culture, economic and ethical activities. It is very much
important and it can only be possible by close evaluation of each and every factor that
impacts on organisational works and activities in a very proper way. Organisation have to

results out of it. Proper measures and strategies to observe market-trends and have to control
fluctuations in proper way.
Communication and leadership:
As per the view of Leigh Anthony ( Effective Communication & Leadership, 2019),
effective leadership is one of most important aspect for an organisation and communication
ability is very much crucial to build effectiveness in both these activities. To lead in market

competitive advantages in better way. The one of most important strategy while economic,
culture and ethical instability arise in an organisation then proper communication within
departments and best leadership style such as situational leadership style that changes as
situation demands.
A project management plan.
It refers to the type of document that explains every expression of project which
includes several elements such as planning, executing, monitoring, coordination and so on
(Araghi, 2012.). The objective of project management plan is to explain the approach that is
to be used by team members to initiate a project, control as well as monitor it. The Project
plan consist of various factors such as scope management, financial management, risk
management and many more.

Cost is an important element to conduct a research in an organisation to deliver right
kind of value and attributes to the end user. In context of present research it has been
evaluated that to conduct research organisation needed 40000 pounds and Vodafone have to
invest 80000 pounds to get desirable outcomes in positive way.
Scope:
scope of the research gives proper guidance about vital aspect and meaning of the
project and its objective. In that particular research main aspect is effect of globalisation on
the business activities so that proper results should be accomplished in an organisation.
Quality:
Quality is one of significant aspect for an organisation to give best quality products
and services to their ultimate consumer base (Artz and Kamalipour, 2012). As per the
quality which denotes about differentiation effect in a product in comparison to competitors
product and services. In that research to maintain quality to get effective results proper tool
for collecting data and information should be taken so that effective results should be
accomplished.
Communication:
Communication is very much important attributes while conducting research and
development. In context of Vodafone while conducting research they have choose best
source to share proper knowledge and information such as by using emails, telephone and
other sources plays very effective role to share goals and objectives behind conducting
research.
Risk:
Risk inherent with each and every factor and it is very much important for an
organisation to find out major risk factor that inherent with the research and proper
strategies to eliminate them in proper way. In context of Vodafone while conducting
research they face the risk of lack of resources and lack of confidentiality in research results
that hampers the self interest of particular research.
Resources
It is define as a type of sources such as labour, funds, stationary, technology, and so
on which is required by project manager to conduct the research effectively. Resources
required for research are skilled manpower, adequate amount of funds, advance technology

A work breakdown structure and a Gantt chart.
Gantt Chart:
It is define as a type of horizontal bar graph representation which explains when the task
was started and when it was completed. These bar graph shows the sequence, time span and
period of time of particular task ( Cazdyn and Szeman, 2012.). The importance of Gantt chart
is that it helps in tracking the task that is scheduled within a deadline. Along with this, it can be
presented on normal spreadsheet but in case of complex project other project software's are
needed. In addition to this, it monitors the advancement of task to set priorities. The major
problem in Gantt chart is that until the previous task is completed new task cannot be started.

Work Breakdown Structure:
This is a kind of structure which breaks the project into smaller parts through which
it becomes easy for team members to know their task. This structure is mainly followed in
large scale corporates. It is in the form of tree like structure which divides the task to
achieve goals and objectives. There are various benefits of work break down structure such
as it provides proper understanding of task to team members (Cohen and Jaidi, 2014.).
Along with this, complex projects can easily be represented in work breakdown structure. It
also serve communicate between team members and other stakeholders.

Small-scale research by applying qualitative and quantitative research methods.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Primary Research:
In this research individuals conduct their surveys, interviews, discussion itself with
customers. This research is time consuming and incur high cost because it involves cost of
transportation, stationary and many more ( Crothers, 2017. ). It is conducted by small scale
sector and in very limited area. The major advantage of this research is the researcher get instant
outcome from customers instead of waiting for their feedback.
Secondary Research:
This research refers to the collection of data from used sources such as books, magazines,
internet, past records and many more. In secondary research, researcher is relied upon data which
is provided to them. This research is conducted on large scale as well as it is cost effective and
saves time of researcher.
Qualitative Research:
It is define as a research in which information is gathered on the basis of human
behaviour, their views, opinions and motivations. Qualitative research is a kind of primary
research because in this research business conduct surveys themselves. In that particular research
project both qualitative and quantitative research should be used because it helps in gaining
accurate results by getting right kind of outputs. In context of researcher to get right kind of

knowledge to remain always competitive. The data collected in this research specific and
accurate.
Quantitative Research:
It refers to collection of data in statistical form in terms of numericals, mathematics and
many more ( Desai, 2013.). This research is cost effective and takes less time.
In that particular project the quantitative research should be accessed by taking interview from
people to remain always competitive by gathering accurate knowledge and information. By using

from large amount of population. The advantage of sampling is that it helps in collecting
data faster than any other research method. There are various types of sampling such as
probability sampling, systematic sampling and many more.
