Product scope: Through globalization customer will get more effective services, support and assistance
for the product at the same cost. The customer situated at any place can order or buy the product and

cost of business communication and service offering through globalization.
Business scope: Burger King can reduce the operational cost by global market entrance by getting
outsourcing services and getting the low wage rate labor at the other locations along with arranging low
cost technology implementation. The project scope will cover the work break structure and Gantt chart
for the planning.
Cost: It is estimated that the project cost can be $1500 with the addition amount of $500 in case of any
contingency. The cost will include arranging the literature sources, market investigation, time
consumption and implementation of the validation techniques.
Time: The project will take around 2 months i.e. 8 weeks for the activities undertaken in the research
such as project initialization, planning, implementation etc. In this only data collection, documentation
and analysis of time is involved (Kerzner and Kerzner, 2017).
Quality: The project quality is ensured through day meetings, communicating, monitoring the milestone
and then mapping the objectives. The project manager has the duty to review on the quality and make
and inform the changes where needed.
Communication: For this the use of emails, calls, and direct communication can be used. The project
has also made the use of reporting procedure so that no information is leaked in between.
Risk: In the project, risk management technique can be applied that includes assessment and mitigation
both. For handling the risk, risk avoidance, transferring, mitigating and accepting are the competent
strategies in use (Heagney, 2016).
Resources: There are basically three resources of the project implementation but with that limited
resources and assets are present in the project to ensure useful implementation. The resources are
appropriately allocated in the activities to meet the greater performance in the project.

Executive summary: It is needed to have the understanding on the objectives and outcomes of the study
with context conceptualization of project. This section will include the globalization definition and few
of its business areas of impact.
Strategic integration: In this the stakeholder analysis is taken to understand their expectations from the
project. The main stakeholders in the project will be the internal staff and the customers to gain the
advantages and service quality (Eskerod and Jepsen, 2016).
Feasibility assessment and contingency plans: Presently, the Burger King organization has the stability
positioning and presently serving globally. The project feasibility is effective aligning with functions of
globalization. It can also pay for cost, time, and quality along with the research work. The potential
situations can be applied for continuous operation on the present approaches. If the influences are
negative on the business then the use of contingency plan can be done.
Limitations: The project limitation in regard to skills, resources and time. The limitation can influence
the performance and quality of services. Thus, appropriate distribution of resources, implementation of
parallel activity and instruction are given to meet the reliable results.
Project scheduling and milestone: The time schedule and outcomes of the project had been reflected in
the Gantt chart. The below presented is the milestone schedule to meet the required results on time with
performance and project quality (Nicholas and Steyn, 2017).
Deliverables Due date/duration Critical dependencies
Activities 8 weeks All the mentioned
resources and assets
Project issues: The influences of market condition changes due to emerging trends in the practices of
globalization are the major issues for the research to have the correct conclusions. Hence, the project
manager will take the present values and standards for analyzing of outcome.
Change management: At the prior approval is needed by the project manager and then accordingly the
changes are implemented. The change procedure is designed for outcomes management.

Task 2
P4 Carry out small-scale research by applying qualitative and quantitative research methods
Appropriate research methods
The use of qualitative method of research is effective for the investigation to gather the information on
the topic globalization. This research method is applied through the use of various articles, books and
journals. The study gives the theoretical and logical framework as the information in past is used by
other research which ensure to give the quality outcomes. Also the effective use of quantitative approach
gives more effective results that show reliability and accuracy with the use of questionnaires, survey and
interviews (Quinlan et.al. 2019). Thus, it is considered as the mixed data collection method that includes
primary and secondary data collection both. Both the aspects are effective to have the quality
performance in the research along with having integration with the other connected resources in the
work of research.
Qualitative research- Literature review
Wheelen et.al, (2017) stated, globalization is the procedure that the firm can use to impact the other
global business or to meet the operational scalability. The study has defined the globalization impact on
the business activities like customer services, human resources, operational department and others.
Burger King has big operational base as it spread globally and due to this the organization needs to
interact with the customers through proper communication. The other thing is that globalization has
given the vast opportunities to the employees and labour to switch their jobs easily due to liberal policy.
It will also impact the Burger King in positive and negative manner both. Positive in the way easy
human resource will be available to the organization at other country and negative in the manner more
good opportunities in the market will force the existing employee to switch over the jobs.
Globalization has influenced the Burger King for the international trading and contracts, employment
wages, customer market, competition and growth factors. According to Adekola and Sergi, (2016),
globalization has offered the chance to the developing countries so that businesses can earn higher
profits with the control over the demand of the market. Along with, globalization on given business
activities at the host countries has supported in lowering down the complexities, barriers of integration
and cost. More efficient services can be offered through speaking in the host language to meet the
